The item is a transluscent sheet that was applied to the top of an item functioning as a transporter for phased aliens who were planting explosives on the “Enterprise NX-01”. The sheet is circular with an entire array of alien graphics and symbols depicting what may be hands, and humanoid figures, a light source behind or underneath it will shine through.
