STAR TREK: ENT “QUANTUM DATED XINDI PROBE COMPONENT” FROM “THE EXPANSE”
A prop item with a storied past. Originally created for the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Profit and Loss” where it was developed to be a small cloaking device given to a lost love by “Quark” (Armin Shimerman), the item was distressed to appear ‘scorched’ and appeared in the Star Trek: Enterprise episodes “The Expanse” and “Exile”. The item appeared in those episodes as part of the Xindi probe that attacked Earth killing seven million inhabitants, thus launching the third season of the series. The item was handled by “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) when he removed it from the wreckage of the Xindi probe and quantum dated it, then later by “Tarquin” (Maury Sterling) when he used his empathic powers to detect the Xindi. The item is made from silver and gold colored metal components and features multiple points of black adhesive details. Item measures approx. 5 X 4 X 4 inches and will last forever. It comes in the same black plastic name brand Pelican case featured in the episode “Exile” which features eggshell foam layers on the bottom and inside the lid, has a hinged lid with two flip latches and a hinged handle. The case measures approx. 9.25 X 7.5 X 7.75 inches.
