STAR TREK X: “GEORDI'S TRICORDER DISPLAY GRAPHIC”
A display graphic for a tricorder created for Star Trek X: Nemesis during the scene in which “Data” (Brent Spiner) leaps from the “USS Enterprise-E” and “Geordi LaForge” (LeVar Burton) disables a force field to allow him to do so. The item depicts the location of a pair of force fields keeping the atmosphere of the “Enterprise” held within and is inscribed ‘Section Isolation Field Command Override 208’ in the LCARS style (Library Computer Access and Retrieval System). While the tricorder used in the movie is believed to have utilized a computer generated graphic, this item may have been created as a possible alternative. The item measures approx. 3.5 X 2.75 inches and moving the item generates the optical illusion that the outer hull force field deactivates.
