| A lot of scripts for the first three episodes of the seventh and final season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The first script, “Image in the Sand”, finds the wormhole closed by the Prophets, all of the Orbs dark, everyone aboard DS9 reeling from the death of “Jadzia Dax” (Terry Farrell), the first mentioning of the Cult of the Pah Wraiths, “Captain Sisko” (Avery Brooks) trying to regain contact with the Prophets on Earth, and at the end of the episode, the introduction of the new “Dax” symbiont “Ezri” (Nicole de Boer). The item itself features a cover with the name of the episode, labels it as the first draft, and dates it as June 19th, 1998; inside, the title page states the series and episode name, the episode number, the writers and director. The second script, “Shadows and Symbols”, finds the entire family Sisko along with the newly joined “Ezri Dax” off to the planet Tyree in search of “The Orb of the Emissary”, the newly promoted “Colonel Kira” confronts the Romulan Senator “Cretak” (Megan Cole) about the hospital they have established on the Bajoran moon of Derna, and “Commander Worf” (Michael Dorn) and “General Martok” (J. G. Hertzler) lead “Dr. Bashir” (Alexander Siddig), “Chief O’Brien” (Colm Meaney), and “Quark” (Armin Shimerman) on a dangerous mission to destroy a Dominion shipyard in honor of “Jadzia” so she can ascend to Sto-vo-kor.
