| A costume top featured in Star Trek IV: The Voyager Home for wear by William Shatner in his portrayal of “Admiral Kirk”. The shirt is salmon-colored with an asymmetrical front that snaps diagonally up the right side and loops around a silver-colored button at the top. The cuffs feature Velcro seals and the shirt appears to be faded and stained from use. The item is presumably one that was used during underwater, rain, or swimming scenes in production. This style was also seen throughout Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. The sewn in Western Costume Co. tag reads ‘William Shatner' and an odd costumer’s tag reads ‘Cmmdr Kirk’s Shirt, William Shatner, Star Trek IV’. | |||
