| A piece of abstract modern art created with a medium of stoneware clay with airbrushed acrylic paint while utilizing wire accents. Wall artwork like this appeared frequently in episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager in crew quarters as set dressing artwork. The item is made to hang from a wall mounting via a plywood backing that supports itself by wire hanging to appear vertically or horizontally. An inscription on the reverse reads ‘#2 top’ to depict the direction it hung during its appearances and a label reads ‘Paris Qtrs’. A minor degree of chipping and breakage is visible on the ends due to time and storage conditions. The item was created by artist Will Richards, an article about his contributions to Star Trek episodic television appears in the March 2002 issue of ‘Star Trek: the Magazine’.
