STAR TREK: ENT “BREATHING APPARATUS” FROM “TERRA PRIME”
A prop featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Terra Prime”; wherein a xenophobic terrorist organization called “Terra Prime” tries to derail the interspecies peace talks that will eventually yield the United Federation of Planets. This item is a breathing apparatus used while traversing the Martian landscape; it is a gray plastic mask with translucent blue-plastic detail, a strap to go around the head and foam interior. The mask itself measures approx. 5 X 4 X 2.5 inches but the strap adds an approx. additional 10 inches. Items like this were used by “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula), “Dr. Phlox” (John Billingsley), “Travis Mayweather” (Anthony Montgomery), and “Lieutenant Reed” (Dominic Keating) in the episode. There is no indications as to who is any of these characters used this one in particular.
