STAR TREK: ENT “ENTERPRISE NX-01 EMERGENCY BRIDGE PANEL” FROM “THE CATWALK”
A set dressing computer console interface panel featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “The Catwalk” as part of the emergency bridge built by the “Enterprise NX-01” crew to survive a radiation storm and again later to avoid possession by the energy wisps in the episode “The Crossing”. The item is a sheet of smoked acrylic with multi-colored graphical applications adhered to both the face and reverse. The graphics on the face are cut out to allow viewing of the ones of the reverse and feature adhered rubber faux buttons. The face depicts a purposefully unfinished appearance in that there are two bays of exposed yellow circuitry listed as ‘Consumable Status’ and two ‘completed’ areas titles ‘Umbilical A’ and ‘LSS Recharge’. The item is unique in that the reverse features adhered light boxes used to affix light bulbs and trap the radiance to show only through the opening in the face graphic thereby creating an indicator light that can flash independent of others. The item appeared in the center bay of a large set wall and was affixed behind a vacuum form (not included), and screw holes for wall mounting are present at the corners. The item measures approx. 19 X 25.5 inches.
