STAR TREK: VOY “JERO/’TUVOK’ COSTUME AND MASK LOT” FROM “MUSE” | |||
A costume featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Muse” and for wear by Michael Houston King in the role of “Jero”, the man who played ‘Tuvok’ in the ‘Voyager Eternals’ plays created by “Kellis” (Joseph Will) through hearing log entries of the crashed Delta Flyer. This costume consists of a long-sleeved, full-length white robe featuring a textured design, intentionally frayed hems for the aesthetic appeal, Velcro placement down the back, and a clasp at the top; a "corset" of leather strips made to look like pounded bronze, tied together with leather string and featuring yellow faux jewels on coiled, gold-colored metal accents. A sewn in Voyager tag reads ‘Michael Houston King’ and a label on the “corset” denotes it for wear by “Jero”. Included is the associated ‘mask’ that this member of the play wore for his character; this mask is an exaggerated visage of “Commander Tuvok” (Tim Russ), it consists of strips of fabric on the reverse, coated with a resin finish and made to look like hand beaten bronze. The mask covers approx. ¾ of the face leaving only the left side of the face from the cheek down uncovered. Attached to the bottom of the chin is a resin-cast handle for the actor to hold about the size of the forearm. The item measures approx. 23 X 9.5 inches. |
