FEMALE CAPELLAN COSTUME FROM THE STAR TREK EPISODE “FRIDAY’S CHILD”
(NBC-TV, 1966-69) Designed by William Theiss, this colorful pink sleeveless dress has a sheer black faille center insert with iridescent dots, and orange faux fur lining at the bust. This dress is worn by one of the Capellan women who enters Capt. Kirk’s tent and offers him a piece of fruit; McCoy then jumps up and warns the Captain that according to Capellan tradition, if he accepts the gift from her, her nearest male relative willtry to kill him!
