| (Paramount, 1996) This exceptional prop is constructed of cast resin painted silver with multiple full-color graphics. Hinged at the lower edge, the protective cover swings open to reveal a full complement of high-quality graphics resembling the lighted function of the tri-corder. This “TR-590 Tricorder X” was most likely used for close-up shots that did not require the full lighted version (see the following lot). Comes with the original black holster with clips on the back side for attachment to a Starfleet belt, as well as a letter of provenance from Paramount stating that this tri-corder was made for use on First Contact. | |
