| Rare Working Cricket Phaser from Star Trek: The Next Generation | |
| (Paramount TV, 1987-1994) One of the few working models in existence – and probably the finest example of the cricket phaser known – this was reportedly Gene Roddenberry’s favorite weapon in the entire Star Trek universe. Constructed of molded fiberglass with a rose-colored “liquid wood” tip, it has a functional button that operates a bar of lights on top as well as the tip. Measuring approx. 3 ½ inches in length, it can be seen in the episode “The Mind’s Eye”. Originally acquired from the show’s propmaker. | |
