The Klingons are a humanoid warrior civilization originally from the planet Qo'noS but now a strong and revered interstellar military power seen throughout the Star Trek anthology. This is a Klingon device in the 22nd Century style and presumably used on the Star Trek: Enterprise series. It is made of resin painted copper color with gold and black colored accents. A black button on the top activates a small blue strobe light on the front of the device, backlights a small gauge panel and activates five LED lights. Three lights are red, two are green. Two of the red lights flash intermittently. The device is powered by a single 9V battery (not included) that is accessed by removing the six Philips head screws and taking off the back panel. STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE NX-01 CONSOLE CONTROL BOX | |||
The Enterprise NX-01 is considered to be one of the most significant starships in interstellar history and was the first Earth ship to boast a warp five engine. Launched in 2151 by Earths Starfleet, it was captained by commanding officer “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) through four seasons and ninety-seven episodes of the famed Star Trek: Enterprise series. This electric control box was used as set dressing onboard the Enterprise NX-01 and is made of an acrylic control panel mounted on a wooden frame allowing for it to be placed within a wall or console opening. There are seven faux disk components along with two opening for additional disks to be placed (sold separately). Faux rubber buttons are on one end for detail. The box has lights inside that are powered by a standard U.S.A. 120V Type-B three pronged plug. Box measures approx. 16 x 5 ¼ x 7 ½ inches. |

Quirky jokes are incorporated into the design including a picture of the original Enterprise with a caption on the bottom that reads “The Plans for a Better Dog House”. There is also a photo of “Stage 18”, presumably on the Paramount lot where Star Trek was filmed. Metal tags hold the pictures in place. Measures approx. 12 x 12 inches. |
