STAR TREK: VOY “B'ELANNA TORRES STARFLEET DRESS UNIFORM” FROM “ONE SMALL STEP” | |||
“B'Elanna Torres” (Roxann Dawson), half-human and half-Klingon, was Chief Engineer onboard the U.S.S. Voyager during the Star Trek: Voyager series. This Starfleet dress uniform was made for wear during the show and was featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “One Small Step” in which the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager paid tribute to “John Kelly” (Phil Morris). He was the pilot of the ‘Ares IV’; the first manned spaceship to Mars. Torres’ dress uniform includes an Operations gold jacket with black shoulders and a discreet zip up the front. There is gold colored trim around the collar however due to time and use small bits are missing. A Velcro patch is on the left breast for a Combadge (not included) to attach. The corresponding trousers are black and the two accompanying sleeveless under-leotards are gray. Also included is a metal Maquis rank bar that may not be Torres’ however it is her rank. It has small holes at each end for sewing onto the costume. Costume comes complete with costume tag. |

“Tom Paris'” (Robert Duncan McNeill) Klingon costume from the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Prophecy” in which Paris committed to a fight with the Klingon “T’Greth” (Sherman Howard) to prove his honor. T’Greth, however had ‘nehret’ and was unable to complete the match. This complete Klingon warrior costume includes gray trousers that have pleats down the front and back and around the sides, stirrups at the feet and suspenders. The unmistakably Klingon coat is made of quilted faux leather and metal accents. The sleeves are black faux fur and there is a metal aglet attached to the left shoulder. Around the right arm are three black tubes and on the left sleeve is a removable resin Klingon communicator badge. There are hooks down the back of the coat for the segmented gray resin spine to attach and a faux leather gorget for around the neck. There is a faux leather belt with a metal buckle that does up with Velcro and a leather ammo pouch attached. The right breast features a pair of green lights that are molded into the costume and activated by a battery box housed behind the left shoulder, which is hidden under the encasing back mold. It requires four AA batteries (not included) to operate the lights. This costume would have made appearances in episodes like “Flesh and Blood, Part I” and “Hunters”. The uniform is a 24th century Starfleet tunic in science or medical division blue, a Velcro patch on the left breast for a commbadge (not included), zipped pockets on either side of the stomach, a full-length, sleeveless jumpsuit that functioned more as an undergarment above the waist and the standard jumpsuit below, with stirrups for the feet and a zip down the front. A costume featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “The Most Toys”, wherein a devious trader fakes “Commander Data's” (Brent Spiner) death so that he can be added to his collection of “antiquities”. This costume is for wear by Saul Rubinek in the role of the pernicious trader “Kivas Fajo”, and is a long-sleeved, leg-less, leotard that is half purple velvet and half a stretchy purple fabric with gold trim around the collar, and decorative sewn cuffs. Also included is a purple jumpsuit that fits over the leotard with corresponding purple velvet and gold trim stripes that go diagonally down from the right shoulder, equestrian style trousers, matching purple/gold leather belt, a zip down the back, and stirrups for the feet; an interesting hat made of latex with purple velveteen fabric, darker purple velvet, and gold colored accents. British actor and little person David Rappaport was the original choice for this role but sadly, he committed suicide after filming only a few scenes. His costume is full-length, long-sleeved jumpsuit made from six different fabrics in individual designs, stitched together in patchwork fashion, a blue leather belt with gold trim, zips down the top and bottom, and zip cuff adjustment around the ankles; a vest of still two more different designs in patched together in the same way, and oversized, gold cuffs. |
