The gray padded chair rests on a reinforced bar that seems to defy logic with its narrowness however it easily supports weight and allows the user to gently rock back and forth. The ‘Maquis' were an organization of Federation born colonists who grouped together against the Cardassian occupation of their homeworlds and featured in the Star Trek: Voyager and Deep Space Nine series. This Maquis gun was presumably made for use during both series. Made of cast foam rubber, the weapon is painted gun metal gray with silver, green and copper color accents. Metallic silver application are applied on the left side and a metal rod is attached on the right. Due to time and use the paint is cracking and chipping away from the rubber base. STAR TREK: VOY “HENRY STARLING PLAQUE AND DIPLOMA” FROM “FUTURE'S END PART I AND II” | |||
‘Henry Starling' (Ed Begley, Jr.) was featured in the Star Trek Voyager episodes “Future’s End Part I and Part II”. A native of Earth, Starling was largely responsible for its computer revolution towards the end of the 20th century. The first piece is his “Collector’s Emporium Honors” plaque for his “contribution to the future of exotic collections”. The plaque is made of particle board made to look like gray marble. The metal part of the plaque is engraved in gold colored lettering. The second piece is Starling’s diploma for his “Bachelor of Science” degree. The certificate is framed, wired on the back and has a gold colored faux seal on it. Due to time and storage, the certificate has some dents in it. Both pieces were on display in his office during the “Future’s End” episodes. The plaque measures approx. 10 x 8 inches and the diploma measures approx 11 ¼ x 8 ¾ inches. |

The lot is the 21st century away team costume of “Captain Picard”, a set of wool trousers, a long sleeve shirt with a hidden button front and no collar, and a sheepskin full length coat with a leather collar. The coat features multiple pockets, two interior, two deep exterior, and permanently upturned leather cuffs which match the collar. The trousers feature zip and button ankle cuffs and a sewn in original manufacturers tag reading ‘Dominic Gherardi Custom Tailoring, Patrick Stewart, March 1996’. The costume also comes with a pair of black leather boots made by ‘Rugged Footwear Company’ with leather additions affixed to the ankles which zip over the laces and labels inside reading ‘Picard’. The costumer’s tag reads ‘Picard 21st Century’. Of all remaining “Captain Picard” 21st century away team costumes this lot is the only one containing the outer coat which has been thus located.
