An elaborate hand prop featured in the alternate ending to Star Trek IX: Insurrection. When “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) boards the Son'a Particle Collector ship to destabilize and thus destroy it, he is confronted by a winded “Ru’afo” (F. Murray Abraham). As Picard has already started a chain reaction that is detonating all over the ship, Ru’afo turns to find him standing on the other side of a gangplank holding up an item identical to this. A clear acrylic tube with metallic gold colored accents inside and out housing a series of sequentially flashing yellow and red lights. The item is powered by a single A23 sized 12.0volt battery housed in the metal tube connected to one side and activated by a black depression button hidden inside the same. The item measures approx. 5.75 X 1.75 X 1.75 inches and retains power from production use. The battery is positioned positive side toward the twist off cap. |

The lot is for two of the uniforms that the Sanctuary District guards wore; one tan and one olive-colored full-length, long-sleeved jumpsuit featuring twin zippers down the front that run the length of the garment, zipped breast pockets, elastic waistbands, stirrups for the feet, and an Eagle and star patch on the left breast with an “A” denoting what sector they work in. In addition, there is a prop clipboard featuring rules and regulations for “Red Zone Applicants” including an in joke about “New Soylent Ration Allocation Requirements”. A costume lot featuring two costumes from Star Trek: Voyager episode “Resistance” and Deep Space Nine episode “Nor the battle to the Strong. The first costume is a “Mokra” costume from “Resistance”, it consists of a sleeveless, full-length, black jumpsuit made mostly of a stretchy, spandex-like fabric with stirrups for the feet; a long-sleeved jacket featuring black, quilted vinyl along the surface of most of the garment, black suede portions on the front and back in addition to suede piping. Also included is a black leather bandolier with three straps that attach to a central, metal ring, braided trim, a clip around the waist, knee-length, heavy duty, black leather boots with assorted straps, and additional metal rings; a black, molded plastic motorcycle style helmet with horizontal stripes and cushioning on the inside. Various parts of the costume are labeled for wear by veteran Star Trek stunt man “Louis Ortiz” and the costumer's tag reads ‘128 Resistance, Mokra’. The second costume is a Starfleet flak jacket from “Nor the Battle to the Strong” and is a long-sleeved, black jacket featuring a neoprene jumpsuit like material divided up into sections with a black, wrinkled fabric sewn on top of it, a Gold division strip across the front, the bottom half of the jacket being more heavily padded than the rest; it has been greatly distressed to denote wear in some sort of virtually hopeless battle situation with a huge tear that takes up almost the whole right half of the jacket that goes through to the other side, has been colored to make it look like blood has flowed, and the left sleeve has been made ragged. The jacket has been labeled with the name “Bill Blair” but no other information is given. |

This costume consists of a sleeveless, full-length, jumpsuit with the top half a black, spandex-like material, the bottom being neoprene over a gray fabric featuring a starburst pattern down the middle and stirrups for the feet. Also included is a vest of further neoprene under sections of black, lattice textured and wrinkled fabric separated into sections by oversized black piping, a distressed jacket matching the lower-half of the jumpsuit, faux suede around the collar, fabric from an extra pocket that has been removed, a wide belt and bandolier featuring intricate rubber and molded foam accents that have started to dry out and crack due to time and storage, multiple loose costume accents with rubber, resin, or metal components and some with Velcro placements, knee-high, black, leather boots in a matching motif with the rest of the costume. With this costume comes the Jem’Hadar melee weapon, a prop Kar’takin, it is a short, wooden pole-arm type weapon with a weighted metal end, the blade is molded plastic on a metal frame; long, vaguely triangular, straight edged to a point and made for stabbing and slashing in battle. The first costume is one of the “Albino’s” guards and it consists of a long-sleeved, full-length gray, reflective jumpsuit featuring several different forms of pleating, dark blue sections of spandex-like material, matching gray piping, black leather belt with similar gray pleating, and a gray, molded-plastic helmet, face shield with an iridescent appliqué that is beginning to peel. A costume featured almost exclusively in the first two season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. This costume is the rare male skant-type Starfleet uniform, a short-sleeved, black skirt like garment big enough to accommodate a male, featuring an hourglass-shape of Command Red division color down the front and back in addition to red piping across the shoulders and collar; a Velcro patch for a commbadge (not included), a zip down the right side and another just under the right shoulder. |

STAR TREK: DS9 “BAJORAN VEDEK COSTUME” | |||
A costume similar to those featured throughout the entire Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series. This costume is that of a Bajoran Vedek, part of the governing body of Bajoran religion and seemingly about the same as a Catholic cardinal; it is a long-sleeved, pumpkin-colored robe that is supposed to button across but the button-hole is gone, a silk-like, matching cowl that buttons closed beneath the robe, and a matching drape of heavy fabric, multi-colored stripes, and abstract shapes. A costumer's tag reads ‘DS9, Bajoran Monk'. |
