STAR TREK: “ORANGE COLORED STARFLEET ROBE”

The robe features a sewn in size tag at the neck inscribed ‘G W' and a sewn on yellow backed Starfleet emblem patch on the left breast reminiscent of those appearing on Star Trek I: The Motion Picture uniforms. However, while those assignment patches are very round with black trim and a black star in the center, this one is oblong, comparatively, and has white trim and a white star. Speculation points to the possibility that the item is a robe for use in make-up and hair departments prior to filming, set wear for comfort, or an actual costume prepared for either Star Trek, Star Trek Phase II, or any of the Star Trek feature films. |

STAR TREK I: THE MOTION PICTURE STYLE ENGINEER'S RADIOLOGICAL SUIT”
A white colored engineer's radiological suit appearing variously in Star Trek feature films, but due to the condition in which it was located its configuration suggests use only in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture. The costume is a white colored jumpsuit with ribbing around the elbows and waist and around the center of the chest. The costume features a copper colored center accent and two silver colored metal rigging bars on the front at the waist. The sleeves and thighs feature remaining outlines from removed ‘thermal’ accents in a pattern consistent with use only in Star Trek I, there is no evidence of a division strip ever having been placed on the left sleeve, and black threads remain on the left sleeve forearm consistent with the placement of a Starfleet emblem patch. Unfortunately, no accents specific to this style of uniform have been thus located so accompanying the costume are elements that complete it for appearances in further Star Trek feature films. Accompanying are a pair of engineering red division strips for the shoulders, specific to Star Trek I, then, a pair of gloves with black tubing, a pair of boots, a black foam collar indicating the wearer to be a crewman, two thigh ‘thermal’ accents, a sleeve mounted ‘thermal’ accent, and two reflective waist accents. The costume features a sewn in Paramount tag. |

STAR TREK: ENT “STATUE OF ZEPHRAM COCHRANE”
A molded foam rubber prop statue of the famous human scientist who invented warp flight, “Zephram Cochrane”. The item is positioned on a soft foam rubber base colored to appear as marble and the statue itself is painted to appear as though it is made from bronze and ages to appear realistic. The likeness matches that of acclaimed Academy Award winning actor James Cromwell following his performance in Star Trek VIII: First Contact. An item like this appeared on the desk shelving of “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) in multiple episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise. The item depict the inventor in his costume from Star Trek VIII holding rolled design schematics in his left hand, while pointing ahead of himself with his first and middle fingers reminiscent of the gesture used by “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart). The item measures approx. 15.5 X 12 X 7.75, the base of the item measures approx. 7.75 inches diameter. Due to the construction elements the item does not stand freely without leaning and is believed to be a stunt version of the item. “Captain Archer” used one to overwhelm a Xindi-Reptillian intruder in one alternate reality depicted in the episode “Twilight”. |
