STAR TREK: ENT “ROMULAN TELEPRESENCE DEVICE” FROM “BABEL ONE” AND “THE AENAR” | |||
A piece of set dressing featured in the Romulan Interference/ Aenar story arc of the fourth season of Star Trek: Enterprise. This item is part of the circuitry aboard the Romulan Telepresence controlled Drone ship and consists of a black, roughly hexagonal frame that has three identical panels that all feature two predominant parts; the first part is a piece of smoked acrylic with a graphical application of Romulan iconographic symbols adhered to the reverse in the LCARS-style (Library Computer Access Retrieval System), and the second is a rectangular shape that bulges in the middle with similar Romulan symbols painted onto multi-colored symbols and clear, acrylic nodule accents. Screws on the panels grant access to what is beneath them; in the case of the LCARS-style panels, it grants access to the wiring involved with lighting them. The hexagonal frame was only seen on camera from one side so what would be the other three sides is merely a round, wooden panel. The top has a circular hole in the middle where additional circuitry is inserted, several holes for screws and two groups of three fasteners are found behind the circular hole. A standard, three prong, 110-volt plug powers the electronics and measures approx. 27 X 23 X 30 inches. |
