The costume also comes with these unattached items, a pair of black shoes with Starfleet emblem logos affixed, a division strip for the left sleeve forearm, a red placement with a silver colored rank badge indicating the wearer to be an ‘able seaman’, and a metallic silver pin backed badge with the name ‘CARSON’ etched into it. The costume is distressed in that the left sleeve cuff is thrashed and the right sleeve cuff is ‘melted’, and the costume fabric is generally dulled to appear ‘scorched’. The shoes are fragile due to time and storage conditions, they have become tough and brittle. |
