The episode takes the “Enterprise NX-01” crew to a world in the mysterious Delphic Expanse where they discover a group of human beings living at a 19th century American West subsistence level, apparently transported there by aliens. The lot consists of a variety of items appearing throughout the episode: three ashtrays seen in the saloon; two metal hay hooks with wooden handles and two molded rubber hay picks that match for stunt work built around metal interior frames used in the fight scene between “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) and “Bennings” (James Parks); a sturdy working padlock and key; a larger padlock; the keys to the jail cell in the sheriffs officer; a set of irons and chains for shackling prisoners; four acrylic Skagaran data chips with silk screened circuitry and adhered translucent gel accents handed out by “T’Pol” (Jolene Blalock); a large brown leather bag used by “Bethany” (Emily Bergl) when packing to go teach the Skagaran children to read; a Skagaran whiskey bottle made from glass and based around tri-lateral symmetry painted silver and with a cork topper along with four practical shot glasses used in the saloon or in the barber shop that “Sheriff McReady” (Glen Morshower) allowed the barber to keep ‘for pulling teeth’; an empty cardboard box labeled in period letting ‘Shotgun Shells, 12 Gauge’; a box of ‘Tremont’ brand name cut nails holding an unknown amount (1 pound) of 1-1.5 inch nails either appearing in the episode or acquired for it; four boxes of squared cornered period playing cards; a bag of white handkerchiefs and a red stained one believed to be stained with special effects ‘blood’; a manila envelope labeled ‘for Props, PADD Artwork, backlit and non-backlit versions, EP 61 – Scene 99, 9/22/03’ that contains two white envelopes adorned with the ‘Paramount Pictures’ logo, each depicting their contents: four non-backlit PADD artworks, and three backlit PADD artworks despite both envelopes listing their contents as ‘(x4)’. The PADD artwork appears as an image of the Wright Brothers flying their airplane at Kitty Hawk with a description printed above and below the image in both English and Skagaran. Finally, a silver colored metal “Enterprise NX-01” sickbay item, a container with a hazardous yellow and black application ringing the outside with the bullet that was ‘taken’ out of Bethany during surgery which is stuck in place because of the dried special effects ‘blood’ that is present. |

STAR TREK X: NEMESIS “SCIMITAR CONCEPT ARTWORK” | |||
A selection of concept artwork created for Star Trek X: Nemesis some of which is original art and some are photographs. One piece depicts a concept of what may have been the observation deck of the “Scimitar” which is altered compared to the more familiar set where “Shinzon” (Tom Hardy) met the crew of the “USS Enterprise-E” for the first time, face to face; the walls are different and what may be a char is centered in the middle of a round chamber, a figure looms in at the other end in from of an elongated hexagonal frame, this item measures approx. 11 X 17 inches and is a photocopy on paper. Second, a photograph on photo quality paper of the Thalaron radiation generator on the “Scimitar”; the set is lit for the camera as would it would be viewed in the Star Trek reality, this item measures approx. 8.5 X 11 inches. Next, a sketch work of the “Scimitar” bridge complete with Reman crewmen at their stations and Shinzon in his command seat on paper with muted gray marker coloring that bleeds through to the reverse of the sketch further authenticating the item as an original; this item is so detailed as to depict rays of light shining up through deck vents on the sides of the work and is inscribed ‘Bridge – (Nemesis)’ and ‘W. Diaz 2002’, the item measures approx. 12.5 X 29.25 inches. A second item bearing the inscription ‘W. Diaz’ is an amalgamation of several detailed sketched, all color copied and adhered to a backdrop sheet, depicting “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart)restrained in the medical bay on the ship, this item is adhered to poster board with unused adhesive placements on the reverse and measures approx. 24.75 X 13.5 inches, the remains of a removed sticker are present in the lower left hand corner. Finally, another depiction of what is believed to be the bridge of the ship, but without any characters or console placements, with a significantly less refined look than the previous, this item is believed to be made up of several 8.5 X 11 inch copies adhered to a larger sheet, then colored, the marker bleeds through to the reverse; this item measures approx. 33.25 X 17 inches and is the most significantly damaged of the items with bent corners, other folds, and creases. A varying degree of damage has occurred with all of the items but the overall aesthetic appeal is clear. |
