The item is vacuum formed plastic shaped to be a console with two windows cut out for the placement of two accompanying acrylic LCARS style ‘display screens’ (Library Computer Access and Retrieval System). The item is painted metallic pewter and featured multiple lines of adhesive detail and raised rubber adhesive accents. Metallic gold colored adhesive accents and brown colored Starfleet inventory applications with metallic gold lettering are present on the face and reverse. The ‘display screens’ depict a blue themed ‘System Status’ with multi-colored numeric values, and LCARS style faux buttons and indicators. The item is made to be internally powered by a Makita name brand 9.6volt rechargeable battery (included). The internal neon bulb has not proven to function, however, and may be disabled due to time or current wiring configuration (the bulb could also simply be burned out’. A pair of black and reflective silver-colored arm warmers, one of which features a resin-cast badge of the Romulan Senate, a Romulan-style wig and latex forehead appliance. This Romulan uniform is the last complete example that will be made available in this configuration. A set of prop items appearing variously in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Voyager. The lot, in this configuration, is a temporal interplexing beacon power generator featured in the Star Trek: Voyager episode “Timeless” for use by “Harry Kim” (Garret Wang) in his alternate future personal. The lot consists of a mid-sized ‘work bench’, an adjustable frame, and a bracing. The bracing is composed of polished metal with an acrylic ‘circuit board’ with silk screened circuitry and remaining adhesive residue from the Borg temporal implants in the episode (not yet located). The adjustable frame is a frequently reoccurring prop appearing in multiple episodes in varying capacities, most frequently as a medical scanner in Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes like “All Good Things…” for use by “Gerodi LaForge” (LeVar Burton); the item is cast resin with pivoting arms, a bank of white lights still wired to exposed leads visible in the center opening. The lights on one side are capable of power when connected to a standard 9volt battery. The bench is made from vacuum formed plastic with a ridged black rubber surface applied to the surface, and a series of lights housed in the front. The internal electronics are powered by six AA sized 1.5volt batteries (not included) and activated by a silver colored button on the front of the device, the frequency of the lights blinking can be controlled by a bottom positioned dial. The lights are colored orange, green, and red. The bench top can easily be lifted off the base granting access to the internal electronics. The bench and frame are painted metallic silver and pewter with multiple accents. The bench measures approx. 10 X 8.25 X 2.25 and the frame with the attached bracing measures approx. 10.75 X 7.25 X 2 inches. The items are in generally good condition, the bench is adorned by two Starfleet inventory applications, one 24th century one on the reverse is metallic silver and reads ‘Neuristic Subsystems HL-9000. A special effects make-up application featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Detained” for wear by Trey King in his portrayal of a Suliban prisoner. The item is molded foam rubber painted to be Suliban flesh tone which amounts to a degree of oatmeal textured brown and tan painted coats with molded ridges on both sides of the head. The item covers the entire head save the face from just above the eyes around the ears, and down the back and sides of the neck; it even covers over the shoulders. The item is inscribed internally ‘Trey King’ and is in good overall condition. The centered parts of the application are soft and flesh like, supple, and spongy; the flexibility of the item is excellent, the edges of the item itself are where any breakdown has occurred. The edges are dry in the places where facial applications were adhered during production, however, in other places the edges still retain their malleability. Minor cracks in some of the centered areas exist where the greatest stress would have been places upon the item during production. An excellent display piece to supplement an already existing Suliban costume or to begin a new collection aspect. |
