The first costume is a stunt “Chakotay” (Robert Beltran) costume from the episode “Nemesis”, a short-sleeved, yellow shirt with camouflaged, mesh over it, matching trousers that have Velcro sealing pockets, five gear loops on both legs, an olive-colored belt, and is mildly distressed to denote the excessive, sustained wear. The second costume is one of the Sakari from “Blood Fever”, a long-sleeved, full-length tan jumpsuit covered with a paper/latex combination with splattered paint to give a cracked/textured appearance and allow the wearer to blend into the rocks that were their environment. STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KAHN “KAHN’S HENCHMAN COSTUME LOT” | |||
A lot of costume elements featured in the second Star Trek feature film “The Wrath of Kahn”. This lot consists of several items worn by several of “Kahn’s” (Ricardo Montalban) henchmen; two black trousers, both intentionally distressed, with pieces of fabric sewn onto them in an attempt to make them look like were patched and repaired from found objects. There are small holes, rips, and tears, as well as stains, fraying, and ‘patch-working’ throughout. One of the trousers is open all along the back and one is open along the leg but “sewn” back together with lacing and has a sewn in Paramount tag that reads merely ‘Valentine’. Included is a gray, leather choker that retains its softness despite the ensuing twenty-six years and is decorated with multi-colored bits of wire and metal arranged into an aesthetic design. A head wrap composed of multiple strips of blue and gray fabric bound together that completely covers the head and featuring a rubber and plastic “face mask” with a visor to “see out of” in the middle and is denoted for wear by Tim Culbertson as “Khan’s Henchman #3”. A pair of leg wraps composed of quilted under fabric with multiple pieces of further “ragged” fabric attached and generally torn, frayed and distressed in the same way as the previous items and featuring a metal attachment. Another fully-encompassing head wrap with the fabric in blues and oranges this time, a similar rubber and plastic faceplate, metal-colored studs and similar distress; a black glove with half the fingers cut off, distressed with plastic “claws” attached and a plain, un-distressed black glove. A pair of boots covered in faux fur and corresponding distress, brown leather and sand from production still adhering to the soles. |

It was originally titled “Dark Tribunal”. The second script is from the episode “Visionary”; “Chief O’Brien” begins shifting back and forth in time. This is the only time that DS9 is seen destroyed. The last script was originally called “Out of Time” but was changed to “Time’s Orphan”; “Chief O’Brien’s” daughter “Molly” (Hannah Hatae) falls through a portal three hundred years into the past and returns ten years older and unable to deal with life on DS9. All items are first drafts and feature the episode name and date on the cover. This information is repeated on the inside cover along with the episode number, series name, writer and director. |

The first and second scripts from the both parts of the two part episode “Dark Frontier”; wherein a plan is devised to steal a Borg transwarp coil and the “Borg Queen” (Susanna Thompson) takes advantage of the situation to deceive “Seven of Nine” into returning to The Collective to save the rest of the ship. This is one of only three two-part episodes that are not pilots or season finales in all of Star Trek. The third script is from the episode “Imperfection”; wherein “Seven’s” cortical node begins to malfunction and needs to be replaced or she will die. The first “Dark Frontier” script has an image of “Voyager” on the cover along with the name, episode, date, and denotes it is a final draft but also includes a handwritten note that reads “This is not a final-final”; the second half has the same note but no cover, it is stuck to the first page. All items feature the series and episode title, episode number, writer and director credits and date on the first page along with a list of characters, sets, and a pronunciation guide on following pages. |
