The item is made from extremely sturdy molded foam rubber, more rigid than any previous versions have been, best suited to screen use as set dressing and not as a stunt weapon. The item is black with etched in Klingon iconographic lettering on both sides, a symbol of the Klingon Empire in the center tine on one side, the hand grip is wrapped in black colored leather strapping, and features molded in ‘finishing’ for detail. The ‘blades’ are beveled for a sharp appearance. The item measures approx. 50 X 11.5 inches and is in excellent condition. There may be no better bat’leth available and no further items of this configuration are expected to be located. |
