This lot consists of four black vests with a design of red, geometric shapes, black trim, and a black belt. Being that is was so early in the run of Deep Space Nine, the sewn in tags read ‘Star Trek: TNG’ instead but still have names in them except for one that was either left blank or has faded away; a costumer’s tag reads ‘DS9 #414, #420, The Storyteller, Bajoran Vests’. Included is the script for “In the Hands of the Prophets”; on the cover page of is a graphic of “Deep Space Nine” with the episode name, draft of the script it is, and the date; inside is the series name, episode name and number, the writer and director of the episode, followed by a list of sets used, a list of cast for the episode, and a pronunciation guide of any technical or alien terms. |

STAR TREK II: “KHAN’S HENCHMAN COSTUME SHIRT” | |||
A costume element featured in the second Star Trek feature film “The Wrath of Kahn” and reused in the Enterprise episode “Judgment”. This item is a long-sleeved shirt worn by one of the henchmen that was banished with “Kahn” (Ricardo Montalban), it is intentionally distressed, with pieces of fabric sewn onto it in an attempt to make it seem like it were patched and repaired from found objects. There are small holes, rips, and tears, as well as stains, fraying, and ‘patch-working’ throughout. Included is a brown belt with pleated accents, red leather cord, and a Velcro placement to secure it around the waist. A sewn in Enterprise tag on the shirt reads ‘Marti Matulis, 045’ and a label on the belt restates the name. |

A lot of digital computer renderings and duplicate sketch drawings of “Deep Space Nine”, some of which were developed by Rick Sternbach, on ten sheets of three hole punched white 8.5 X 11 inch paper and twenty-nine 11 X 17 sheets of white paper, also three hole punched. The digital renderings include images of starships docked or in flight and other pages of this size are listed as ‘Miniature Design Notes’. The sketch duplicates are signed by Rick Sternbach and include an Asian cartouche dated ‘’92’. One of the station images includes labels detailing the points of interest on the station as it would be constructed, some of the drawings indicate the measurements if they were life sized, but mainly the sketches are made to depict the materials needed to elicit a realistic approach in miniature form. The papers are carefully presented in their original 19.25 X 11.75 X three inch three ring binder. |

A lot of two items from the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Dramatis Personae”; wherein the crew of DS9 become telepathically imprinted by the consciousnesses of a culture that destroyed itself and try to do the same again. This lot consists of the beck brace “Quark” (Armin Shimerman) wore after being thrown across the room by the controlled-“Kira” (Nana Visitor), it consists of padding covered in rust-colored material with silver-colored glitter, multiple metal and plastic ‘supports’ and braces, a black strap around the middle, and silver-colored, foam accents suggesting technology. The item measures approx. 11 X 9 X 9 inches. The script is a first draft with multi-colored pages denoting where lines and scenes have been deleted or added; it has a graphic of the DS9 station, series title, episode title, the draft and date. Inside some of the same information including a list of rewrites for the draft and a code for deciphering which date of rewrite belongs to which color of page, episode number, writer and director; according to the script, this episode was originally named ‘Ritual Sacrifice’. |
