STAR TREK VI: “SPOCK VULCAN COSTUME”
A costume featured in the sixth Star Trek feature film “The Undiscovered Country” for wear by Leonard Nimoy in the character he made famous “Captain Spock” in the ‘succession’ scene with “Valeris” (Kim Cattrall). This costume consists of a burgundy tunic worn underneath, open down the sides with elastic straps and a textured circular pattern; a gorgeous, long-sleeved, black velvet robe made so it appears to have several layers and featuring gold pin-stripes, darker, textured, gold-colored trim down the front, back, and around the collar, further gold-colored, resin-cast, Vulcan iconographic symbols down the left side, two buttons near the top and Velcro placement inside secures the costume closed. There is one small spot of damage on the gold trim along the right shoulder but does not detract from the costume’s one of a kind aesthetic appeal. An attached costumer’s tag reads ‘Leonard Nimoy as Spock, chng 2, sc 34’.
