STAR TREK: TNG “INTERPHASIC ORGANISM”
An unusual episode to say the least, “Phantasms” involves something truly impressive, “Data” (Brent Spiner) dreaming. In his sleeping states Data confronts an array of surreal situations and imagery, one a “cellular peptide cake” made up of none other than “Deanna Troi” (Mirina Sirtis). Soon, in one of the turbolifts, Data corners Troi and stabs her in the shoulder for no apparent reason but the reality of the situation becomes clear when Data enters a state of unreality and dreams the conclusion to the episode. The crew have become infected with ‘Interphasic Organisms', not visible to the naked eye, but revealed by way of an ‘Interphasic scanner’ (soon to be available in auction). Data’s actions against Troi appear to have to do with his unique android abilities and an attempt to live out his dream of slicing into her arm to remove one of the organisms. The item in question is an actual prop Interphasic Organism made from latex, resin, and metal components. The brilliantly preserved prop shot model features multiple legs and tentacles, tines at the mouth and anus all painted in a gruesome lifelike fashion, and a metal support pillar with screw thread base for attachment to a stand. The pillar has an approximate 23 inch length of yellow plastic cable with wiring inside presumably to work untested interior components. The item measures approx. 16 X 14 X 6 inches. |

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE “MAGNETIC PARTICLES – SIMILITUDE”
A cast resin hand prop painted to look particularly dirty and, well, particulate. This item was featured in the episode “Similitude” of Star Trek: Enterprise having been ‘removed' from the outer hull of the “Enterprise NX-01” by crewmen who had to resort to cutting them off. Handed to “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) by “T’Pol” (Jolene Blalock) and then set on his desk where its ‘magnetic properties’ drew to it a metal coffee cup, the collected buildup of these particles would eventually lead the ship never to be able to leave the area of space they were in. The solution to this problem lay in the cloning of their injured chief engineer “’Trip’ Tucker” (Connor Trinneer) to repair their engines so they could continue on their mission to stop the Xindi super weapon. |

As Wesley and The Traveler become friends they form a bond that will last through many future episodes. His costume is made from a fabric that is horizontally placed on the chest, while being vertically inclined on the sleeves and pants. The fabric is silver, gray, and black wood patterned. The collar of the costume appears to have been cut out or unfinished and, indeed, the costumer’s tag reads ‘The Traveller, Eric Menyuk , Where None Have Gone Before, Top and Pants, Don’t know if used’. |
