STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN – CADET ENGINEERING PROTECTIVE SUIT DISTRESSED | |||
This intentionally distressed jumpsuit is from the brilliant second Star Trek feature film “Wrath of Khan” and was used in the sickbay scenes after Khan (Ricardo Montalban) attacked the U.S.S. Enterprise. The lined off-white engineering protective suit has a padded target motif on the chest that has a metal center. The sleeves and waist also have padded bands with an extra red and gold band around the left sleeve denoting rank. A metal disk has been attached to the left side of the chest for detail along with two triple-hole metal rings for safety equipment. The outfit has a Velcro and snap combination at the back and a small zip at the front to allow the wearer to use the bathroom without taking the outfit off! Each pant leg has white elastic stirrups at the bottom. There are additional plastic attachments on the front and side for detail as well as an ‘Able Seaman' square metal rank pip on the lower left sleeve. A padded red collar is also included with plastic attachments for detail. There is burned distress to a large percentage of the suit, most notably on the right sleeve, right leg, left chest and back. The accompanying tags read “Daniel Wong – Cadet” and “Sickbay”. |

Her costume in “Generations” is a pair of black trousers with a gray stripe running up the outer seams and Velcro adjustments at the ankles, a ribbed collar gray sleeveless undershirt, a red Starfleet uniform jacket with tan interior breast , silver chain accents on the outer layer and part way down the inside snap seam, and black nylon lining, black piping, belt loops at the waist front, an attached rank placement on the left sleeve with an appropriate, affixed, metal pin indicating the rank of ‘lieutenant’, and a corresponding sewn on gray division strip around the sleeve with a pair of attached gold colored commendation bars bracketing a round gold colored service pin featuring a Starfleet arrowhead logo. The costume also features a corresponding gray shoulder division strip that is unattached to the back, but clasps to the front and a black leather belt with a metal Starfleet belt buckle. No master villain is masterful unless he is master of at least some men. “Khan” (Ricardo Montalban) therefore had a group of genetically engineered super henchmen under his command. This costume comes from the collection of Khan's people from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan; a pair of woven and crocheted pants with a dark dye and woven knee pads and sewn on, draped distress to appear thrashed and torn, along with a gray nylon shirt with burned in holes and scorch marks throughout and woven patched of distress added to further the appearance of wear. An accompanying costumer’s tag reads ‘Kahn’s Men, J. McBride, Change #2.’ The costume also comes with a woven thread scarf with tied off ends and a pair of fur topped boots that are covered in strips of cloth and feature excellent tread detail on the bottom. The boots may also have been used in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. |

Not certain why he’d won the brawl, another resident of the prison mentioned to him, not to forget that not everyone keeps their genitals in the same place.
