An excellent Next Generation era ‘Ferengi' costume featured in episodes during seasons 2 through 7 and specifically in the episode “Bloodlines”. This soft, milk chocolate colored jumpsuit comes with a corresponding cropped top with long sleeves that feature gold and brown mesh on the outside of the sleeves, and a matching collar and inside ‘shirt’ for wear underneath. The top also features a set of rings in the center of the chest, an accent familiar to Ferengi costumes. A pair of gold colored bracelets are present and a pair of black leather boots with painted green and gold blotches are included. O'Malley…’ and goes on to explain that the student passed examinations and received a master’s degree in ‘astronautics’. The item includes a printed seal of Starfleet in the year 2153 and is signed ‘Herman Zimmerman’ as the ‘President, Board of Trustees’ and ‘Louise Dorton’, ‘Dean of Astronautics, Starfleet Academy’. There is no indication as to whether or not the item was actually signed by those aforementioned. Zimmerman was the production designer of several Star Trek productions and set designer of several more. Dorton was an art director on Star Trek: Enterprise and other Star Trek productions. They were featured throughout the Star Trek universe however this specific ornament was onboard the Orion slave trader “Harrad-Sar's” (William Lucking) ship during the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Bound”. Made of hand sculpted ceramic the piece has been glazed black and brown with a dripped sky blue design.
