STAR TREK: TNG “SUSPICIONS – JO'BRIL” SPECIAL EFFECTS COSTUME
“Dr. Jo'Brill” (James Horan) was a Takaran scientist invited onboard the U.S.S Enterprise to view a test of its metaphasic shielding in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Suspicions”. Jo’Brill wasn’t all he appeared to be and was killed in self-defense by Dr. Beverly Crusher (Gates McFadden). The first shot blasted a hole through his abdomen but it failed to kill him, the second shot was set to vaporize and he was annihilated. This great costume shows how the special effects were done to give the illusion of Jo’Brill having a gaping hole straight through him by having a blue piece of fabric in the center of the blast hole. The blue fabric acts as a screen to project any background the special effects department needs, thus making a hole appear where really there is not. The rest of the costume is made of heavy weight fabric that features rectangular shapes and a zip up the back. The outer edge of the hole is made of latex rubber painted to look like the insides of Jo’Brill. Costume comes complete with costume tag. |

STAR TREK X: NEMESIS “REMAN WARRIOR” COSTUME AND HEAD APPLICATION
This lot is a costume uniform worn in Star Trek X: Nemesis by a Reman Warrior. An offshoot society of the Romulans, these aliens exist in almost total darkness, treated as second class citizens until a leader rises among them and puts their entire race on a path to conquest. With a starship more powerful than any other, built from a secret base and with uniforms and weapons all their own the Remans come out of the shadows and meet their enemies like hunters stalking prey. This costume is comprised of a purple full length uniform jumpsuit with gold trim that zips up the front, and has zips at the cuffs and ankles, matching gloves with zips that close with zips of their own, and a pair of matching boots. The collar features a ‘Reman X' on the back of it like the one that attaches to the belly via Velcro. Additionally it comes with a purple shoulder-accent unique to the Reman costume that Velcro together in the front and lace underneath the arms. Padding is evident within to protect the vinyl costume over which it is worn. The exterior is covered in molded plastic accents with intricate sewn in details. An internally worn jumpsuit and vest is available for wear for comfort within the costume. The accompanying Reman head application was used to create the look of the alien species. Made of cast latex, this two piece set consists of the detailed skull cap with cranial ridges and spray-paint to compete the effect of Reman skin. The ears have been lost to time. The second piece is the face application that is designed to cover the top half of the face and has the same detailed attention paid to it to create the finished Reman appearance. |

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE “TERRAN EMPIRE - MACO” UNIFORM
The “evil Mirror Universe” of Star Trek is a place where our heroes are duplicated, though their personalities are vastly different due to their changed circumstances. The Federation has been replaced by a Terran Empire that rules by force and conquest instead of governing by diplomacy and democracy. Changes in the chain of command frequently occur and it is during that time that there is no one better suited to defend the status quo, or defeat it, than the MACOs (Military Assault Command Operations). They are not the “redshirts” of the classic Star Trek, nor are they part of “Enterprise's” pre-Federation Starfleet, but a group of highly dedicated soldiers that are part of the Terran Empire’s assault forces. They have a unique uniform and this item is one of them. It is made up of a brown undershirt, covered by a gray nylon uniform jacket that zips up the front; similar nylon pants with stirrups and a brown leather belt with metal belt buckle. Both jacket and pants are detailed with brown thread and the costume is loaded with zippered pockets. The sleeves on the uniform jacket are decorated; the left one with the MACO emblem patch featuring a cracked skull and the name of the soldier wearing the uniform, this one being “M. Romero”, and the right sleeve featuring the red bar with the classic Starfleet arrowhead with yellow and blue bars on opposing ends, and the rank of the soldier, this one being a ‘private’. The uniform also includes a pair of reddish-brown gloves and gray boots made from vinyl with canvas tops. The overall color of the entire lot (barring the gloves and undershirt) is gray with uniquely mottled white, black, and brown paint smudges thru ought to give it a “camouflaged” appearance. The sewn in Enterprise tag indicates use by various actors and the costume comes with a costumer’s tag. |

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE “ROGUE PLANET” ESKA HUNTER COSTUME AND KNIFE
“Shiraht” (Eric Pierpoint) was an “Eska” hunter from the planet Dakala encountered by “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) and the NX-01 Enterprise crew in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Rogue Planet”. Best known for their hunting prowess, the Eska hunted the “Wraiths”; shapeshifting beings on the same planet. This is his costume that includes a gray mottled effect Lycra shirt with a zip up the back and a pleat down the front. The pants are made of the same fabric with additional decorated padding at the knees. The matching jacket has extensive decorative stitching to the chest, shoulders and right side of the body. It zips up the front and there is a strip running from the right breast to the back, each end has a metal accent attached. A belt, knife holster and metal bladed knife complete the outfit. The blade is curved and features a jagged back with serrations, and a pattern of holes through the blade itself. The grip is red furnished wood attached to the metal of the blade; there is a hole in the metal for the forefinger of any ‘humanoid'. The item also comes with a leather sheath designed to match the unique camo pattern of the 'Eska' hunting uniforms in that it is white with black splotches. The sheath features two snaps that hold the knife in place and a belt loop. The blade measures approx. 3.75 X 7.5 and the overall length is 12.5 from tip to pommel. The grip itself is a meaty .75 inches. The prop metal blade is not sharpened but it is made to look sharp. Costume comes complete with a costume tag. |
