A prop rifle featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Field of Fire” for use by Nichole de Boer in her portrayal of “Ezri Dax” or “Chu'Lak” (Marty Rackham). In the episode, the item appears as a prototype projectile weapon that was outfitted with a transporter to allow its chemically fired bullets to transport to a location a few centimeters from its target. The item is made from cast resin painted metallic pewter and silver with silver colored metal accents. A pair of metal fittings are present on top of the item for the attachment of a shoulder strap. The item also features a cavity for a standard 9volt battery where a circuit board is present and a cover plate that has come free of its adhesive bond (the reverse cover plate is fastened by screws). A finger switch is present on the left as is a metallic silver slide. The internal electronics do not function at this time. The item measures approx. 40 X 9.25 X 2.5 inches. |

The items are a pair of black canes with gold painted resin lion’s heads affixed to the top, one appears to be capable of acting as a ‘lighter’ as there is a spigot out the mouth and a thumb sized cavity on the reverse of the head. The second one is nearly identical except it has a closed mouth, no and cavity in the back. The paint on the canes themselves is slightly worn due to storage. A costume featured in the Star Trek” Deep Space Nine episode “Cardassians”, wherein “Garak” (Andrew Robinson) and “Dr. Bashir (Alexander Siddig) go to Bajor to investigate some abandoned Cardassian war orphans. The costume is for wear by Robert Mandan in the role of “Kotan Pa'Dar”, a high ranking Cardassian official who found that his presumed dead son was still alive and being raised by Bajorans, and is a sleeveless crimson wool vest with multicolored stripes, a zip down the back, a long-sleeved maroon wool jacket, a v-neck collar, magenta piping, the same multicolored stripes around the cuffs, a neoprene/silk lining, corresponding maroon, overall style trousers, and stirrups for the feet.
