RENE PICARDS'PADD FEATURING HIS REPORT ON STARSHIPS
Following Captain Jean-Luc Picard's (Patrick Stewart) capture and assimilation into the Borg Collective and his subsequent rescue and return to humanity he was given a little off time. This was featured in a beloved episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation called "Family" in which we see the captain's return to La Barre, France, his birthplace, and the family vineyard run by his brother, Robert. In the episode, Picard's nephew Rene explains to his uncle that he has written a report about starships and that it has a great deal to do with the famous captain. The item up for bid in this auction is the actual prop PADD (Personal Access Display Device) meant to serve as Rene's report should Captain Picard actually be seen reading it on screen. Unfortunately, that scene was never included in the episode and this heartwarming prop was not part of the show. It is however, built with great detail as the beige PADD features gold trim around a black 'screen' and 'button' housings. The 'screen' includes text that explains in the fashion of children what starships are and which one is the biggest. Furthermore it details who is in command of that ship as well as what it looks like and who wrote the report. Measures approx. 17 x 10 x 1/4 inches.

STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE "TRIP'S ORPHEUS MINING" COSTUME - DISTRESSED
"Charles 'Trip' Tucker III" (Connor Trinneer) had been in a lot of difficult situations before the 'Terra Prime' incident, but when a group of terrorists created a hybrid clone of "Trip" and "T'Pol" (Jolene Blalock) he had to go undercover to see how it was possible. Their mission took them to the 'Orpheus Mining Complex' on the moon where miners wear durable coveralls to protect them in the harsh elements. This impressive jumpsuit is made of durable tan material with a matching mesh section in across the lower back and is 'distressed' in that it is 'stained' to appear used and features a special effects applied 'wound' to the back of the left shoulder. It has Velcro and lace up size adjustments at the cuffs and ankles, zips up the front, and features the 'Orpheus Mining Colony' patch on the right breast. Connor Trinneer wore this while portraying "Charles 'Trip' Tucker" in the episode "Demons" and "Terra Prime" of Star Trek: Enterprise. |

STAR TREK VII: “STELLAR CARTOGRAPHY STUDY MODEL”
Who can forget the stunning visual effects created for the ‘Stellar Cartography' lab on the “U.S.S. Enterprise-D” during Star Trek VII: Generations? While tracking down their captured crewman and his kidnapper, “Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) and “Data” (Brent Spiner) enter a lab that has vastly changed since its first appearance in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Lessons”. This study model is part of what made it all possible; a white foam core model on a 12 X 12 inch square base standing approx. 7.75 inches high of a ¼ inch scale set. The model features a round base supporting an entryway that mounts a centrally positioned workstation with a rail. A clear plastic ‘screen’ is evident surrounding the model through which can be seen the interior. A ‘Star Trek: The Next Generation Feature’ application is present in the 24th century title font, and another application indicating the production designer (Herman Zimmerman) and Art director (Sandy Veneziano). The model stands on a quartet of feet and due to storage conditions shows some signs of wear in that the plastic ‘screen’ is peeling from the model in one location due to the white tape having lost some of its adherence. Also, a section of the ceiling appears to have been mislaid if in fact the item was ever supposed to have included it. |

STAR TREK: VOYAGER “USS DAUNTLESS BRIDGE MODEL – HOPE AND FEAR”
Having accessed a communications array, the crew of “Voyager” received an encoded message indicating nearby coordinates. Upon arrival they discovered a starship presumably sent from Starfleet to carry them home employing experimental ‘quantum slipstream drive' technology much faster than warp speed. The ship was a dream come true and the bridge was light years more advanced than that of the intrepid “USS Voyager”. The item up for auction is a foam core model of the bridge of the “Dauntless”, the ship discovered in the episode “Hope and Fear”. The model features two secondary areas adjoining the main bridge rotunda, a three dimensional work of art eventually realized in a full scale, life sized set featured in the episode. The central bridge depicts an inset helm bank and chair at the fore, a centrally located command chair and a series of guard rails around them. The sides of the bridge walls are open to give viewers a full view of the interior, a section of the walls are present for the full effect. The front of the bridge is a step up to the main viewscreen (open for a view aft), and the rear reveals the exit to attached corridors. Two model miniature Starfleet characters are present for scale depicted in ‘First Contact-style’ uniforms, glued into place, one of the guard rails is unattached butt most likely to be placed at the fore of the bridge. The entire model is attached to a base showing some degree of damage due to time and storage conditions in that a corner is cracked but still attached due to the sturdiness of the top layer of the base, and a small corner under the identification plate on the base is broken away. The ID plate reads ‘Star Trek: Voyager, Episode #194, “Hope and Fear”, Dauntless Bridge” in caps and in the ‘Voyager-style’ font. The entire item measures approx. 22 X 36 X 7.5 inches. |

A large set dressing wall console featured in various episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on the sets of the “U.S.S. Defiant”, Starfleet's first battleship allowed to use a cloaking device. With “Captain Sisko” (Avery Brooks) as part of the design team, the ship was developed as part of the contingency to battle a likely Borg invasion. The item is a sturdy computer console made from wood painted gray with three inset smoked acrylic LCARS panels with graphical applications adhered to them meant to be backlit by the still functioning light panels built in behind. The panels function on a system of two pronged plugs based around standard American 110v AC power and backlight the LCARS brilliantly! There is also a clear panel with a stylized frame around it made for the viewing of a television or computer monitor with a diagonal screen size of 19 inches; there is a down sloped base behind it for setting the monitor and a metal loop screwed in for which to chain the monitor while ‘wilding’ (moving) the item around on set due to the casters on the bottom. STAR TREK: 24TH CENTURY PADD
A 24th Century style Personal Access Display Device (PADD). It was presumably used on one of the 24th Century series and/or feature films including Star Trek: The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine or Voyager. The PADD is plastic painted metallic green and silver in the Romulan style however the LCARS style inset multicolored display screen is clearly Starfleet. The most likely reason for this is that there was originally a Romulan display screen application attached over the Starfleet one and it simply fell off! It was not uncommon for the Star Trek crew to adapt one item into something else as needed. Attached to the PADD are numerous inset applications creating faux buttons and detail. Due to time and use the PADD has numerous scratches to the painted finish. Measures approx. 9 x 12 inches.
