A lot of scripts from various episodes of seventh season Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The first episode is “Once More into the Breach”, wherein an aging “Kor-The Da’har Master” comes before “Commander Worf” (Michael Dorn) and requests that he help him find a new military post. The second script is “Chimera”, wherein “Odo” (Rene Auberjonois) meets “Laas” (H.G. Hertzler credited as Garman Hertzler) another of the “one hundred” Changelings sent out into the galaxy to explore. The third script is for the episode “Badda-bing, Badda-bang”, but is labeled as “Buduh-bing Buduh-bang”, wherein “Captain Sisko” (Avery Brooks) and the crew all pitch in to help the holographic lounge singer “Vic Fontaine” (James Darren) when another mobster takes over his casino. The last script is for the episode “Penumbra”, is part one of the last nine episodes of the series, wherein in “Captain Sisko” (Avery Brooks) announces his intentions to marry “Kasidy Yates” (Penny Johnson) and “Ezri Dax” (Nicole de Boer) steals a runabout to look for the missing “Commander Worf” (Michael Dorn). All items are first drafts and display the episode name and denote the date they were written instead of the episode air date. |

The item appears as a long sheet of scroll-like paper with uneven, pulp edges with a finely printed series of findings printed in white calligraphy with shadows, topped by a red crest featuring the black eagle standing atop a gold emblem including the symbol of infinity. The item begins ‘Be it hereby resolved that in the case of The Continuum Versus Q’ and goes on to state nine points. The item is signed ‘Q’ and measures approx. 26 X 9.5, features minor folds due to storage conditions, and pin holes at all four corners. There is no evidence that this has been rolled into a scroll at any point. |

A set of signage and posters believed to have been created for various episodes of Star Trek: Voyager. The items are an oversized, unused application depicting a Sphinx holding two scrolls atop an inscription of ‘Alexandria Books’ from the episode “11:59”, a pair of what appear to be Quarren propaganda posters from the episodes “Workforce, Parts I and II” both multi-colored on high quality paper with push pin holes at one end and a minute degree of damage attributed to removal from an adhesive on the reverse, both featuring ‘Quarren’ script, a triangular piece of signage on heave card stock with a metallic gold colored side adorned with black graphics, and two other paper posters of matching size and with similar alien script, one colored red and yellow and the other featuring a graphic of a humanoid figure brandishing a hammer. These larger posters measure approx. 16 X 21.75 inches and feature multiple pin holes, and a slightly more visible degree of either wear or distress. All of the items are clearly used to some degree, screen use has not been verified. |

A large LCARS panel (Library Computer Access and Retrieval) used in the engineering set of the “U.S.S. Valiant” on the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Valiant”. The item is a large sheet of smoked acrylic with a graphical application adhered to the reverse depicting interior ship schematics and cross sections of the Defiant-Class starship. It appeared in a scene taking place between “Nog” (Aaron Eisenberg) and “Jake Sisko” (Cirroc Lofton) The graphic is multi-colored and features two small dorsal views of the ship with various highlighted sections, a larger dorsal view of half of the ship that features positions of the sickbay, galley, bridge, engineering, and weapons emplacements, and a cross section from the side of the ship which locates the main shuttlebay with a shuttle in it, the location of main engineering, and the bridge. The display is inscribed ‘Master Systems Display II’ and ‘NCC-74210’. The item is beveled for dimension, features screw holes for wall mounting, and the display graphic is best viewed when back lit by an external light source. The item measures approx. 38.25 X 68.25 inches. |

The item is sturdy injection molded plastic painted externally, featuring a fashioned foam interior into which can be placed up to six Starfleet Type II phaser props (not included). The internal and external paint has flaked away in several places, notably at the bottom of the interior and on the latch handle at the top externally. The item is capable of wall mounting and the lid opens on a hinge. The exterior is adorned with a metallic silver adhesive accent. The item is famous for having been visible onscreen revealing its original manufacturer’s label molded into the open lid which can be seen in the episode to read (albeit upside down) ‘Action Packer’. The item measures approx. 4.5 X 21.75 X 16.75 inches. The item is made from finished wood stained a marvelous brown with a glass front containing a metallic backing and two weather reading instruments. The backing is labeled ‘Admiral Fitzroy’ and ‘Storm Class Barometer’ with directions printed on the face and depictions of a ship at harbor. A lot of first season scripts and artwork whose episodes illustrate a need for what would become Starfleet’s “General Order One”, the Prime Directive. The first script is from the episode “Civilization”; wherein the “Enterprise NX-01” comes upon an Earth-like civilization in a much more primitive stage of development. In this episode, “T’Pol” suggests that Starfleet adopt Vulcan protocols that become the benchmark for the Prime Directive and “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula), in true Enterprise captain style, becomes involved with a member of the alien species and reveals his true identity to her. Included are two original pieces of artwork of the attack craft belonging to the alien miners; both are full color images, signed and dated by John Eaves, feature the series name, episode name and number and are labeled “Alien Attack Vessel, Version #2”. The script itself bears the series and episode name, episode number, the writers, director, date and states that it is the final draft. A second page lists the sets used; the third lists the cast for the episode, and the next two pages feature a pronunciation guide for alien names and phrases used. The second script is from the landmark, in terms of the development of the Prime Directive, episode “Dear Doctor”; wherein “Dr. Phlox” (John Billingsley) is narrating a letter to a colleague and describing a situation with a race called the Valakians who are asking for warp technology to try and save their race from extinction by a genetic flaw that they assume is merely a plague. This episode has “Dr. Phlox” and “Captain Archer” at odds about essentially allowing a sentient race to become extinct because they have come to an “evolutionary dead end” and also includes the actual first mention of the term “Prime Directive”. The script itself has a cover sheet with the Enterprise logo, the name of the episode, the date and states it is the final draft. A second page lists the sets used; the third lists the cast for the episode, and the next two pages feature a pronunciation guide for alien names and phrases used. |

The first script, “Image in the Sand”, finds the wormhole closed by the Prophets, all of the Orbs dark, everyone aboard DS9 reeling from the death of “Jadzia Dax” (Terry Farrell), the first mentioning of the Cult of the Pah Wraiths, “Captain Sisko” (Avery Brooks) trying to regain contact with the Prophets on Earth, and at the end of the episode, the introduction of the new “Dax” symbiont “Ezri” (Nicole de Boer). The item itself features a cover with the name of the episode, labels it as the first draft, and dates it as June 19th, 1998; inside, the title page states the series and episode name, the episode number, the writers and director. The second script, “Shadows and Symbols”, finds the entire family Sisko along with the newly joined “Ezri Dax” off to the planet Tyree in search of “The Orb of the Emissary”, the newly promoted “Colonel Kira” confronts the Romulan Senator “Cretak” (Megan Cole) about the hospital they have established on the Bajoran moon of Derna, and “Commander Worf” (Michael Dorn) and “General Martok” (J. G. Hertzler) lead “Dr. Bashir” (Alexander Siddig), “Chief O’Brien” (Colm Meaney), and “Quark” (Armin Shimerman) on a dangerous mission to destroy a Dominion shipyard in honor of “Jadzia” so she can ascend to Sto-vo-kor. Get ready to watch Star Trek in a whole new way from this large console appearing variously in episodes of Star Trek: Voyager like “Cathexis” and “Investigations”. The item is a fashioned wood console on rolling castors with acrylic elements and a monitor cavity. The base is heavy enough to keep the item upright but rolls easily enough to position according to your needs; the surface of the item is a large shaped black acrylic sheet. The monitor housing is positioned to accept small televisions or computer monitors and features a specially created clear acrylic sheet with metallic silver adhesive details for a 24th century appearance. The hood over the monitor housing is easily removable and the acrylic sheet comes away as well. Without the acrylic sheet the monitor housing is open to 19.5 inch screens with a 16.5 X 12 inch base and height, with the acrylic sheet a 13.5 inch screen can be obscured. Ports for power and data cables are present inside the cavity and one exists in the reverse of the item for external support. The item measures approx. 49 X 30 X 47inches. The item is inscribed ‘Sickbay 71 STV’ on the base and three Starfleet inventory applications adorn the exterior of the item, one referencing ‘Optical Data Network’. The item is an injection molded plastic computer learning tool for children altered for screen use in the episode. The item features a full English language keyboard, directional actuator, and ‘mouse-style’ buttons. The ‘display screen’ is covered in a graphical application depicting a futuristic 22nd century Starfleet style Windows-like program. The various windows are labeled ‘Exo Language Skills’, ‘Event Schedule’ including a listing for ‘Prof Hoshi 0900’, ‘Study Aids’, and a window listed as ‘Notes’ indicating ‘less emphasis on the NEKLEET’. The item opens on a hinged lid and when closed latches shut. The lid features a rubber faux button and the bottom features a Starfleet inventory application indicating ‘Secondary Actuator’. The item still functions when powered by four AA sized 1.5volt batteries thus emitting sound when the buttons are pressed (though there is no way to navigate the screen while it is covered). Notebook containing 34 original sketches, one to a page, by make-up artist Michael Westmore as he developed the look of various Star Trek characters. Eight pages have notations and every page is initialed either "MSW" or "MW" at lower right. The first drawing is labeled "B'Rat (chemist)"; the others have no names, but have notes such as "Bone Plating" or "Tiered Cheek Bone," showing Westmore's thoughts as he worked out a "look" for a character. Star Trek - Original Conceptual Drawings For Female Borg | |
Two original drawings made by make-up artist Michael Westmore as he worked on the concept for the head of the female Borg Seven of Nine who was played by Jeri Ryan and who debuted at the start of Season 4 in in the episode #69 Scorpion, Part 2. Westmore wrote at the bottom: "Concept: Cover most of bald head. Small hole side of neck" and initialed "MSW". The second drawing focuses on how Seven of Nine's eyes will appear: the base color for the iris, the rim, the veins in the eye, etc. A color swatch for the color of the iris, Pantone #644U" is taped to the sketch. At lower right: "Female Borg Star Trek M Westmore…". Personal property of Michael Westmore. |
