STAR TREK: DS9 “SEVENTH SEASON SCRIPT LOT” | |||
A lot of scripts for the first three episodes of the seventh and final season of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. The first script, “Image in the Sand”, finds the wormhole closed by the Prophets, all of the Orbs dark, everyone aboard DS9 reeling from the death of “Jadzia Dax” (Terry Farrell), the first mentioning of the Cult of the Pah Wraiths, “Captain Sisko” (Avery Brooks) trying to regain contact with the Prophets on Earth, and at the end of the episode, the introduction of the new “Dax” symbiont “Ezri” (Nicole de Boer). The item itself features a cover with the name of the episode, labels it as the first draft, and dates it as June 19th, 1998; inside, the title page states the series and episode name, the episode number, the writers and director. The second script, “Shadows and Symbols”, finds the entire family Sisko along with the newly joined “Ezri Dax” off to the planet Tyree in search of “The Orb of the Emissary”, the newly promoted “Colonel Kira” confronts the Romulan Senator “Cretak” (Megan Cole) about the hospital they have established on the Bajoran moon of Derna, and “Commander Worf” (Michael Dorn) and “General Martok” (J. G. Hertzler) lead “Dr. Bashir” (Alexander Siddig), “Chief O’Brien” (Colm Meaney), and “Quark” (Armin Shimerman) on a dangerous mission to destroy a Dominion shipyard in honor of “Jadzia” so she can ascend to Sto-vo-kor. The item itself features a cover with the name of the episode, labels it as the first draft, and dates it as July 6th, 1998; inside, the title page states the series and episode name, the episode number, the writers and director. The last script, “Afterimage”, finds almost everyone confused or confounded by the feelings that this new “Dax” brings, most of all “Ezri” herself and “Worf”; “Ezri” is given the assignment of helping “Garak” (Andrew Robinson) deal with his extreme anxiety and claustrophobia. STAR TREK: VOY “SICKBAY MONITOR CONSOLE” | |||
Get ready to watch Star Trek in a whole new way from this large console appearing variously in episodes of Star Trek: Voyager like “Cathexis” and “Investigations”. The item is a fashioned wood console on rolling castors with acrylic elements and a monitor cavity. The base is heavy enough to keep the item upright but rolls easily enough to position according to your needs; the surface of the item is a large shaped black acrylic sheet. The monitor housing is positioned to accept small televisions or computer monitors and features a specially created clear acrylic sheet with metallic silver adhesive details for a 24th century appearance. The hood over the monitor housing is easily removable and the acrylic sheet comes away as well. Without the acrylic sheet the monitor housing is open to 19.5 inch screens with a 16.5 X 12 inch base and height, with the acrylic sheet a 13.5 inch screen can be obscured. Ports for power and data cables are present inside the cavity and one exists in the reverse of the item for external support. The item measures approx. 49 X 30 X 47inches. The item is inscribed ‘Sickbay 71 STV’ on the base and three Starfleet inventory applications adorn the exterior of the item, one referencing ‘Optical Data Network’. No internal electronics are included and only minor dings in the edging of the monitor housing has occurred. |

A prop PADD (Personal Access Display Device) featured in Star Trek episodic television. The item is fashioned from two layers of acrylic or resin and features an inset ‘display screen’. The screen depicts ‘Lingual Skills’ of ‘Cardassian’, ‘Bajoran’, ‘Klingon’ ‘English’ and ‘Ferengi’. The item is painted teal with black and gray adhesive detail lines applied around the base with a black and metallic silver adhesive placement under the screen. The item measures approx. 5.75 X 3.75 X 0.25 inches. |

A prop featured in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Lonely Among Us” which has been altered for use in later episodes. The item appeared as “Councilor Troi’s” (Marina Sirtis) hypnotic light used when hypnotizing “Dr. Crusher” (Gates McFadden). It is molded resin with a round light centered on the face that contains an array of lights that appear to circle inward as they flash in sequence. The device is activated by way of a button switch on the face and is powered by an internally positioned 9volt battery (not included) . Painted brown for later use with an added rubber tube and metal probe attached, the item also features black colored adhesive details. Measures approx. 4 X 4.5 X 1.25 inches with a 23.5 inch tube attachment. |
