STAR TREK: ENTERPRISE “KLINGON TARG”
It could be said that the most beloved animal of the Klingon Empire is the “Targ”. STAR TREK: ENT “PORTHOS” SUBMERGED STAND-IN DOG
From the episode “A Night In Sickbay” of Star Trek: Enterprise this model dog was made for a scene involving “Captain Archer's” (Scott Bakula) pet beagle “Porthos” (Breezy). Because the scene revolved around a certain specialized underwater surgery and the actual performer could not be expected to remain unconscious or immobile, a prop stand-in dog was produced. The dog features matted fur from its use underwater, a metal brace, for the floatation frame, a hole in the head for the implantation of a ‘chameleon pituitary gland’. The prop measures approx. 24 X 18 X 11 inches. This prop dog was said to have cost the studio tens of thousands to make! |

STAR TREK: TNG “INTERPHASIC ORGANISM”
An unusual episode to say the least, “Phantasms” involves something truly impressive, “Data” (Brent Spiner) dreaming. In his sleeping states Data confronts an array of surreal situations and imagery, one a “cellular peptide cake” made up of none other than “Deanna Troi” (Mirina Sirtis). Soon, in one of the turbolifts, Data corners Troi and stabs her in the shoulder for no apparent reason but the reality of the situation becomes clear when Data enters a state of unreality and dreams the conclusion to the episode. The crew have become infected with ‘Interphasic Organisms', not visible to the naked eye, but revealed by way of an ‘Interphasic scanner’ (soon to be available in auction). Data’s actions against Troi appear to have to do with his unique android abilities and an attempt to live out his dream of slicing into her arm to remove one of the organisms. The item in question is an actual prop Interphasic Organism made from latex, resin, and metal components. The brilliantly preserved prop shot model features multiple legs and tentacles, tines at the mouth and anus all painted in a gruesome lifelike fashion, and a metal support pillar with screw thread base for attachment to a stand. The pillar has an approximate 23 inch length of yellow plastic cable with wiring inside presumably to work untested interior components. The item measures approx. 16 X 14 X 6 inches. |

STAR TREK: VOY “BORG DRONE REMAINS”
The Borg are an eclectic race of cyborgs with a single goal – perfection. There are no individuals, only members comprised of many species that were assimilated into the collective. They are considered to be the most threatening force in the galaxy. This incredible piece is the remains of a life-size Borg drone featured in Star Trek: Voyager and/or Star Trek: First Contact. It is made of soft foam rubber, sponge and plastic painted to appear metallic and mechanical. The partial skull is made of plastic painted silver. Due to time and use some of the rubber is degrading. The piece appears to be made with the intention of the Borg remaining in a laying position. It is too soft to have it positioned up right without extensive support. The crate used by the production crew to house the piece is also the container in which it will be shipped. Crate measures approx. 96 x 32 x 17 inches. |

STAR TREK VIII: “BORG ALCOVE MANNEQUIN”
A Borg alcove mannequin created for Star Trek VIII: First Contact for use as fillers for background performers. The item is molded foam rubber with an internal PVC frame, painted black, metallic silver, and copper with other painted accents. The head is painted a lifelike pale flesh tone to create the appearance of a humanoid with severe blood loss. The item features multiple working multi-colored light bulbs that flash sequentially at the torso and around the neckline. The electronics are powered by a single rechargeable Makita name brand 9.6volt battery. The battery hangs free of the body itself while the electronics are applied to the spine by way of black adhesive. The techno-arm on the right side is removable molded black rubber; a slit in the front of it may not be attributed to damage and could have production purpose. The paint around the back of the mannequin shows signs of deterioration. Generally a visible degree of flaking occurred leaving portions of the yellow foam rubber materiel apparent. The left foot of the mannequin is removed exposing the PVC framework inside. The item measures approx. 28 X 72 X 11 inches. Sealed inside its custom made wooden crate the item measures approx. 32 X 17 X 80 inches. Get one for your already existing Borg Alcove or prop one up in your quarters to menace your visitors! |
