STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION CARPET FROM THE “ENTERPRISE-D” | |||
A square of carpet from the corridor of the famous starship “U.S.S. Enterprise 1701-D” rebuilt for the final episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, “These are the Voyages…”. Despite actually being an episode of Enterprise the show featured around the activities of Commander William T. Riker (Jonathan Frakes) and Councilor Deanna Troi (Mirina Sirtis) during the events of the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode “Pegasus”. While trying to access the best course of action during that episode Riker and Troi visited the ‘holodeck' to relive the adventures of the Enterprise crew in the year 2161. In so doing, the art department for the series painstakingly recreated elements of the Enterprise-D to make possible Frakes and Sirtis’s interaction on board their previous starship sets. Own a part of a ship that has ‘gone where no one has gone before.’ Measures approx. 4 X 6 inches. (Carpet Squares were pre-cut.) |
