| Making appearances in various feature films like Star Trek I: The Motion Picture, The Search for Spock, The Voyage Home, and The Undiscovered Country this style of uniform and armor seems to be the standard for Starfleet security in the fleet and at base. Worn around white two piece uniforms in The Motion Picture, the costumes changed to similar red uniforms with black undershirts with ribbed collars, and a back and breast plate with a brown leather covered helmet featuring a white Starfleet arrowhead emblem on the front during The Search for Spock, the latter of which is included in this auction. The lot is a red two piece uniform with back and breast plate armor (with some degree of wear in the form of minor cracks, and a leather coated helmet, and a leather belt with metallic silver colored accent bars placed on its center, a pair of belt keeps, and a leather holster. Interior ‘Western Costume Co.' tags read ‘Ron Cragg’. The pants feature a dark green division stripe down the outside seams, and the costume comes with a removed green division strip for the left sleeve with an affixed circular pip indicating 10 years of service due to the Starfleet arrowhead logo centered on it, a nearly identical one indicating five years of service, and a silver colored bar indicating a commendation affixed between the prior two, as well as a red rank placement with affixed metal badge indicating the rank of ‘petty officer, 1st class’. The costumer’s tag with the accoutrements is inscribed ‘Security Guard, Federation Security Council’ indicating likely use in the final scenes of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. | |||

They were featured prominently in the Star Trek IX: Insurrection feature where they were fighting a loosing battle to overcome the affects of aging without access to the regenerative effects of the Ba’ku planet’s metaphasic radiation. This uniform was worn by “Son’a Officer 2” (Claudette Nevins) and includes a metallic earth-green vinyl jumpsuit with patterned shoulders. Down each side are black strips of capillary rubber, the bottom of each leg has black elastic stirrups and there is a zip up the back. The lined waistcoat is made of pleated velvet with brown bubbled latex trim. Three metal rips Velcro onto each side and a single rib Velcro’s onto each shoulder denoting rank. The knee high black boots are padded with four metal rings around each calf. The gloves are black leather, cotton and bubbled latex with a latex hand control on the back of the left glove. | A Vulcan costume featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Carbon Creek” in which “T'Pol” (Jolene Blalock) tells the story of her great-grandmother having crash landed on Earth in 1957, lived among the humans for a time, and then rescued by a Vulcan ship. This is the costume of one of the rescuers a leather two-piece uniform with tan, khaki, black, and brown components with a matching belt, and a gold colored resin badge centered on the chest over the zipper seam (adhesive topstick applies the badge from one side to the other). The collar of the uniform features embedded badges in a ‘Vulcan’ swirl type arrangement, perhaps the rank of the wearer. It also says “wetsuit” possibly referencing that this costume was originally used by Spiner during the Star Trek: Insurrection feature in which “Data” is seen under water in his uniform. It is likely that the costume was later reused by ‘stand-in' actors. The jumpsuit is black with grey quilted shoulders and loops around the waist for ‘away team’ gear to fit. | The Kes are members of the Kesprytt species who share their planet with the Prytts. They wished to join the Federation but were ordered to resolve their grievances with the Prytt before they would be even be considered. “Ambassador Mauric” (Robin Gammell) was the high Kes representative who stood for the Kes on board the U.S.S. Enterprise-D during negotiations. The costume includes brown striated pants with a matching jacket. The sleeves and shoulders are a different patterned fabric using the same color scheme. It snaps and zips up the front and there is an additional flap that opens over the left side of the chest. Worn underneath is a cream square patterned shirt with collar. Around the biceps are removable vacuum formed plastic cuffs painted gun metal gray with admiral rank embellishments on them. A resin spear head style badge is also included. Costume comes complete with costume tag. | STAR TREK: ENT “VULCAN CAPTAIN – CARBON CREEK” UNIFORM - DISTRESSED | |||
| The impressive Vulcan captain uniform was featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Carbon Creek” in which “T'Pol” (Jolene Blalock) tells “Captain Archer” (Scott Bakula) and “Trip Tucker” (Conner Trinneer) about her great-grandmother and two other Vulcans crash landing in a small Pennsylvania, Earth town called Carbon Creek back in 1957. This costume was worn by the captain of the starship that crash landed and includes a brown leather jacket with dashed patterns, cracked leather and black trim. A gold colored resin Vulcan decoration is attached to the chest. On each side of the collar are metal Vulcan pips and there is distress primarily to the chest and right shoulder to show the captain after crash landing. The pants are cracked brown leather and the belt is black and brown leather with a resin buckle in the center. Costume comes complete with costume tag. | |||

Enterprise have gathered for a presentation by “Admiral Kirk” (William Shatner) on the dangers they're about to face. The tan jumpsuit has a pocket on the right leg, a zip up the back and pleats up the shins. Matching tan shoes accompany the jumpsuit. | |||

They were one of the instrumental species responsible for establishing the United Federation of Planets and were featured throughout the Star Trek anthology. This Vulcan costume is believed to have been used by a background actor during the final scenes of Star Trek III: Search for Spock in which “Spock's” (Leonard Nimoy) soul was restored to him after a successful mind meld with “Dr. McCoy” (DeForest Kelley). The cream robe has layered sleeves, a hood and a zip up the back. Worn over the top is a gray tabard that ends in cream and gold ruffled pod embellishments at each of its four corners. Across the front is a gold band with woven symbols and above is sewn a half-moon resin decoration. The decoration is blue and purple with gold trim and a gold Vulcan symbol painted on it. | A costume featured in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture for wear by actors portraying engineers on board the “USS Enterprise”. The costume is an off white colored full length jumpsuit with ribbing around the elbows of the sleeves and a similar circular area in the center of the chest, and a metal breath mask connection that is holding on by a thread. The costume comes with several unattached accoutrements, a pair of gloves with red ‘thermal' tubing on the back of each hand, a pair of hip side ‘thermal’ units with similar red tubing, a pair of silver colored metal line rings, a red collar with red tubing, snaps and Velcro closures, a pair of engineering division strips for wear on the shoulders, a metallic gold and copper colored accent for wear in the center of the chest, a white placement for an attached metal badge indicating the rank of ‘able seaman’, a silver reflective bar (not pictured), and a sturdy plastic name tag engraved ‘STRAETH’ the style of which appeared in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The right leg of the costume features faded red stain believed to be special effects ‘blood’ and the collar of the uniform itself exhibits a departure for radiological suits in that it has a gray ribbed collar sewn on. | |||
