The logo states "Ad Astra Per Aspera" which translates from Latin to mean "To the stars, despite adversity." The bulletin board is covered by a perforated metal mesh which allows push pins to be pressed through holding any of the impressive items onto the board. The items range from paper print out of what may be readouts from a PADD (Personal Access Display Device) depicting Vulcan iconographic writing with various marks around certain portions of the dialogue and pronunciation guides penned out by “Hoshi”; one reads ‘Vulac-Kree', the other ‘Pon-Farr?’. Another pair of readouts depict ‘Activity Report’ and ‘Duty Assignment.’. A paper copy of an alien calendar is represented by various black and white circle designs with multiple red ink notes and directive lines. One center pinned strip appears to be the language of the ‘Axanar’, and another paper star chart indicates the location of such star systems and worlds as ‘Earth’, ‘Wolf 359’, ‘Andoria’, and ‘Grombridge 34’. The reverse of this item is inscribed ‘Hoshi’ and the items have been pinned in the same place as they were by production staff since production according to continuity photograph references. The books are ‘Conversational Cambodian’ by Hippocrene Books, New York, the novel “Star Trek: Voyager, Mosaic” by Jeri Taylor, hardback with Chinese lettering on a spin covering, “Languages of the Sub-Sahara” from the ‘Teach Yourself’ series, the hardback novel of “Star Trek: Generations” with a spine covering reading ‘Lao Script, The Luangraban Simplification’, a hardback novel titled “Harmful Intent” by Baine Kerr with a spine covering reading ‘Xu Shen & The First Chinese Dictionary’, and another hardback novel, “Jerusalem’s Heart, The Zion Trilogy, Book 3” by Bodie and Brock Theone with spine and cover alterations reading ‘Languages of the Sub-Sahara’. Finally, a vinyl covered guide book titled “National Audubon Society, Field Guide to the Night Sky” from 1991, the outside cover of which is adorned with an “Enterprise NX-01” assignment application in full color. |

The Promenade on Deep Space Nine is a futuristic mall that serves as the main social location for the station's civilian activities. This impressive promenade alien costume includes a full length robe made of gray, black and sliver fabric. The sleeves are patterned with ties around the wrists and end in knots. There are zips below the cuffs for hands to come out. The collar extends down like a sash that wraps around the back and culminates in a large bow that’s held in place with hook-and-eye clasps. The large box shaped hat is gray with padded trim and wide fabric tassels hanging down the back and sides. Due to time, use and storage there are multiple tiny holes in the costume and headwear. Costume comes complete with costume tag. |

A costume featured in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home for wear by “Federation Security Council Ushers” in the council chambers appearing at the beginning of the film. The costume is green trousers with yellow chevrons at the ankles, and a uniform top made from matching materials in the same style with one yellow sleeve featuring a red oval accent and a blue triangle, the sleeve also features an unattached United Federation of Planets shoulder patch (not pictured). A prop map projector featured in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode “Cease Fire” appearing in opening scenes taking place between “Shran” (Jeffery Combs) and “Tarah” (Suzie Plakson). The item depicts the positions of Vulcan and Andorian forces on the disputed world of Weytahn. The item is a metallic silver case with a white acrylic backlight to which is adhered a graphical application of a city under siege with battle lines drawn out and features multiple lines of Andorian iconographic text. The item also features clear acrylic hand holds affixed to the sides, a metal handle on one side for carrying, and a pair of buttons for activating the item. As with many production items in the Star Trek: Enterprise collection the power plug was removed, but this one was replaced and the item is powered by a three prong Type-A plug operating on standard American 120volt electricity and lights when the buttons are pushed in for a matter of seconds and then released. The item measures approx. 27.5 X 19 X 7 inches. |
