A set dressing piece appearing in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “In the Pale Moonlight” next to “Captain Sisko” (Avery Brooks) in his quarters. A pair of manufacturers stamps are present reading ‘Homan MFG Company, Made in the U.S.A.’ and ‘quadruple plate’, as well as ‘Special MFTAI’. The hinged lid opens to reveal a faded blue fabric lined interior on and inner lid. Initials are etched onto the lid’s center exterior. A degree of scratches and age is visible due to time and storage conditions. The item is not in any state of disrepair but could perhaps benefit from polish, however, it appeared in the episode in exactly this condition. Measures approx. 2.5 X 5 inches diameter. |
