Nichelle Nichols "Lt. Uhura" duty uniform from Star Trek: The Original Series
(NBC-TV, 1966-69) Signature red velour duty uniform dress with black scoop neck collar and an original "engineering" Starfleet insignia patch at the left breast. Because of the way the uniform is tailored (with the zipper closure over the left breast), this duty uniform dates from early in the first season, as Ms. Nichols' uniforms were re-designed shortly thereafter as it was difficult for her to get in and out of the dress. Comes with a letter of authenticity from Nichelle Nichols, as well as a color photograph signed by Ms. Nichols in her Starfleet uniform. One of the rarest of the Enterprise crew uniforms, this is the first Lt. Uhura duty uniform from the original series we've ever encountered, and is one of only two known to have survived. A rare and highly desirable uniform from one of the most important and influential science-fiction TV/film series of all time.

(NBC-TV, 1966-69) Black robe costume with ornate blue bouillon, black front panel and sleeves, and integral leggings. Back zipper closure. Made for Robert Brown as the mentally unstable scientist "Lazarus" in this memorable episode, most likely for some of the stunt scenes as this costume is undamaged and unsoiled, whereas the hero costume was heavily distressed. Interior Western Costume label printed “Bob Brown”.

Positive feedback GREAT TOS STAR TREK TELLARITE COSTUME THANK'S
STAR TREK: TOS “TELLARITE COSTUME” FROM “JOURNEY TO BABEL”
A costume featured in the original Star Trek series episode “Journey to Babel”; wherein the “Starship Enterprise” ferries dignitaries to a conference on the planet Babel. This highly fragile costume is a black jumpsuit with a unique thin sliver painted mesh layer covering it for texture and features a pattern of iridescent rainbow colored squares. Due to time and storage conditions the squares have rips in them and some of the mesh has loosened. The costume also comes with a belt that features a metal techno-buckle adorned with a dark red and a green faux button or knob and a bank of molded plastic mean t to suggest hardware. The belt is made from sparkling silver fabric made to match the costume. This item was previously listed erroneously and at long last has been reunited with its belt. No further costumes of this episode are expected to be located in the collection.
