STAR TREK: TNG “COMMANDER RIKER CIVILIAN COSTUME” FROM “THE GAMBIT: PART I”
A costume featured in the opening sequences of the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode :the Gambit: Part I”; wherein Captain Picard” (Patrick Stewart) is presumed dead and the “Enterprise-D” investigates and pursues those they think responsible when “Captain Picard” is actually in disguise on the very ship the “Enterprise-D” is chasing. This costume is for wear by Jonathan Frakes in the role of the First Officer of the “Enterprise-D”, “Commander William Riker”, and is a blue, long-sleeved shirt with sort of a metallic sheen to the fabric, vertical black stripes and diagonal textured stripe accents along the collar, cuffs, and shoulders, and corresponding blue trousers. A sewn in tag reads ‘Deep Space Nine, Jonathan' and the costumer’s tag reads ‘256 Gambit Part I, Riker, Jonathan Frakes’.

STAR TREK: DS9 “EPI CAPACITOR – MILES O’BRIEN” FROM “Q-LESS”
A prop EPI Capacitor featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Q-Less” for use by “Miles O’Brien” (Colm Meaney) to reenergize and then open a runabout door. The item is a pair of internally mounted tri-prong electrical conduits cased in a wood exterior. The item saw use in the episode by being plugged into the side of the runabout where lights on the top and bottom of the item activated in sequence through the use on an unknown power source. The untested device is painted beige externally with black adhesive detail and a black button. The item measures approx. 11.5 X 9 X 2 inches. A warning application on the side reads ‘When using D.C. do not rupture under load’.

This great costume was made for wear by “O'Brien” (Colm Meaney) in a Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode where he took a phaser blast to the gut! The costume is a black Starfleet uniform with quilted gray shoulders and Operations Gold bands around the cuffs. The inside of the jumpsuit has an elastic waist adjusting band to create a fitted look, there is a zip up the front and a Velcro patch for a combadge (sold separately) to attach on the left side of the chest. Along the waistline are loops for away gear (not included) to attach. On the right side of the abdomen is an impressive faux phaser hole including faux blood and silver paint to give the effect of a blast. Worn underneath is a long sleeved operations gold shirt that has a black and white Chief Engineer patch sewn onto the right side of the collar. Costume comes complete with costume tag.

This impressive bust is “Miles O'Brien” (Colm Meany) who first served onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise-D as Transporter Chief during the Star Trek: The Next Generation series and later as Chief of Operations onboard Deep Space 9. Made of plaster, the bust shows every detail of O’Brien’s face including pores and blemishes. The bust is painted giving O’Brien a deathly appearance. Small hairs were applied for eyelashes, some of which still remain and there are also remnants of hair for the eyebrows and head. Two pieces of Topstick also remain, presumably where a wig was attached. Measures approx. 13 ½ x 12 x 9 inches.

This lot includes two long-sleeved, full-length, matching robes in a burgundy fabric with a slightly wrinkled look, raised, purple brocade in a floral pattern, and matching sashes; two long-sleeved, pewter-colored, pajama shirts featuring roughly diamond shapes in blue and the same burgundy as the robes, with their own sashes, and viridian-colored pajama trousers. Sewn in tags read ‘Deep Space Nine' and either ‘Colm #1’ or ‘Colm #2’ and the costumer’s tag reads ‘DS9, O’Brien, Colm Meaney’.
