STAR TREK: DS9 “DR. BASHIR CIVILIAN COSTUME” FROM “THE SIEGE”

A costume featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “The Siege”, wherein “Commander Sisko” (Avery Brooks) tries to keep an extremist faction of Bajorans known as “The Circle” from taking over the station and “Major Kira” (Nana Visitor) and “Lieutenant Dax” (Terry Farrell) race back to prove to the Bajoran government that the Cardassians are supplying them. This costume is for wear by Alexander Siddig in the role of the genetically enhanced Chief Medical Officer of Deep Space Nine, “Dr. Julian Bashir”, and is a long-sleeved, light-blue, silk shirt with a wrinkled print, olive-colored trousers, brown suede reinforcements halfway down the leg, stirrups for the feet; a long-sleeved, blue, leather/suede jacket, with a faux-scale pattern, and smooth blue suede around the cuff on one half, the opposite design on the other half, a belt around the middle, and a zip down the front. A sewn in Deep Space Nine tag reads ‘Mr. S. El Fadil’ and the costumer’s tag reads ‘DS9 423 The Siege, Bashir, Siddig El Fadil.
