Record summary
A piece of set dressing like those featured in various episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. This item is a black, resin cast console piece featuring silver-colored and Cardassian themed graphical application. On the console is a large trapezoidal accent with a clear ‘eye’ on the top; an oval-shaped ‘viewer’ attached to the trapezoidal accent by a round, metal conduit. The ‘viewer’ can be removed from its base and clipped wiring can be seen inside the metal stand along with similar wiring in the base of the object itself that is believed to be used to illuminate the smoked acrylic ‘display’ at the front. The item has moderate scuffing due to time and storage and measures approx. 13 X 17 X 1 inches.
