STAR TREK: DS9 “KIRA’S BASEBALL CAP” FROM “STARSHIP DOWN”

A baseball cap featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Starship Down” for wear by “Major Kira” (Nana Visitor) in the closing scene during which “Captain Sisko” (Avery Brooks) asks Kira to a baseball game on the holosuite. The item is a black fabric ball cap with a flat visor, white trim extending in six directions along the seams from the crown, with a white ‘G’ embroidered in the forehead. The item is fitted and carries the name brand of ‘American Needle’ and ‘Black Diamond Authentic Series’. A degree of visible remaining make-up can be seen around the interior rim of the hat indicating wear. The item was located in the Avery Brooks collection.
