STAR TREK: DS9 “CARDASSIAN LEGATE COSTUME” FROM “WRONGS DARKER THAN DEATH OR NIGHT”

A costume featured in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode “Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night”; wherein “Major Kira” (Nana Visitor) uses the Orb of Time to find out if the allegations by “Gul Dukat” (Marc Alaimo) that he knew her mother and that she left her father for him are true. This costume is that of the Cardassian Legate who tells “Luma Rahl/Kira Nerys” (Nana Visitor) about the game that “Dukat” is playing with “Kira Meru” (Leslie Hope), it consists of a dark-grey, long-sleeved jacket featuring multiple sites of black piping, ribbing under the collar, down the ribs, and along most of the sleeve. Included are matching overall-style trousers with similar ribbing down the leg, stirrups for the feet, and a corresponding, molded rubber holster and belt. Most Cardassian uniform costumes consist of material sewn over neoprene; this costume is rare in that it consists merely of more sturdy, moderately metallic material. A sewn in Deep Space Nine tag in both reads ‘Wayne Grace’.
