| MINE GUARD COSTUME FROM “THE XINDI” | |||
| This costume was created for the third season episode “The Xindi” in which Captain Archer and the “Enterprise” crew visit a mine looking for information about the mysterious Xindi who have attacked Earth at the end of season two. The guards in this episode all wear this specific type of costume. It consists of a leather undershirt that zips down the spine and its sleeves protrude out from under a short-sleeved overcoat. The overcoat is made of a foam rubber lining interior while braided patterned leather makes up its exterior; a zipper seals over the spine. There are two belts attached to the front that are leather with metal rings and they attach via Velcro at the spine, the overcoat also features other leather and metal details and blue painted “aging” around them. The brown leather pants have stirrups and suspenders attached. Brown leather boots with leather and metal buckles are also part of the costume and are detailed in the same fashion. The Enterprise tag inside indicates use in the episode "The Xindi". | |||
