Dr. Phlox is a Denobulan who joined the NX-01 Enterprise after being recruited from earth. His sickbay contained a zoo of interplanetary animals that were kept in cages just like these. They were kept either as a source of food for other animals or as a source for medical drugs. Made of vacuum formed gray plastic, the hexagonal cage has a clear acrylic handle, a removable side and metal mesh grids at each end. Measures approx. 18 ¾ x 12 x 12 inches.
