STAR TREK: VOYAGER “TUVOK – FLASHBACK” STARFLEET UNIFORM WITH COMPONENTS FROM STAR TREK VII: GENERATIONS | |||
From the beginning of Star Trek: The Next Generation, actor Tim Russ has been associated to the franchise. Having auditioned for a role as “Geordi La Forge” which subsequently was given to Levar Burton, Russ eventually became cast as the Vulcan security officer “Tuvok” on Star Trek: Voyager after having played various guest roles in The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine. As Tuvok was trapped in the Delta Quadrant it was eventually known that he had been an ensign on board the famous “USS Excelsior” during the events of Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. Shortly thereafter, at least in the Star Trek chronology, Russ performed as a member of the “USS Enterprise-B” crew during the opening of Star Trek VII: Generations. In both instances Tim Russ wore a costume with components to create this lot, a feature films-style Starfleet uniform. The lot consists of a pair of two pairs of black trousers, one with gold division stripes down the outside seam of the legs and the other with grey division stripes; the grey trousers featuring sewn in Star Trek VII tags inscribed ‘Tim Russ'. The lot comes with two shirts, one a gold colored long sleeved shirt with a ribbed collar and cuffs and a sewn in Star Trek VII tag reading ‘Tim Russ’, and a gray colored sleeveless shirt with no identifying tag. The lot includes a gray shoulder division strip with gold colored trim and an affixed metal ‘ensign’ rank badge with an affixed ‘security placement’ on the other end, and a red rank placement with affixed metal ‘ensign’ rank badge for attachment to a uniform sleeve, both of which were located with a tag inscribed ‘Tim Russ’. Finally, the costume comes complete with a maroon colored Starfleet class-A uniform jacket with white colored inner breast lining, silver colored metal chain details in between snaps, and an affixed command white division strip on the left sleeve which has no identifying tags. |
