STAR TREK VI: “WHITE RADIOLOGICAL ENGINEERING TRAINEE” COSTUME
A white engineering radiological trainee costume the style of which first appeared in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and continued use through Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. The costume is a full length white jumpsuit with a ribbed waist and elbows, a ribbed circle centerpiece, an affixed metal breath mask attachment on the left breast, an affixed yellow backed Starfleet emblem patch indicating the wearer to be part of the engineering division, and an affixed red division strip around the left forearm sleeve with a yellow flash indicating an intention to be in the engineering division. The costume also comes with matching boots with large black soles and gloves with red ‘thermal' tubing accents, two unattached leg ‘thermal’ units with red tubing and one for the arm, an unattached silver waist accent, a red ribbed collar with tubing accents, Velcro and snaps, an unattached foil and copper colored center chest placement, unattached yellow shoulder division strips, an unattached white placement with an affixed metal badge indicating the wearer to be a ‘petty officer 1st class’ rank, and a silver colored pin backed name plate reading ‘STRATH’. The costume also comes with a pair of unattached silver colored metal rigging loops for the front of the costume. The costume features two sewn in Paramount tags, one with a name.
