| A costume appearing in various Star Trek feature films for Starfleet personnel in the technical or special services fields. The costume is an off white jumpsuit with wide ring accents around the sleeves and legs, with loops for the attachment of equipment made from molded plastic components which are mounted onto the center back and chest, connected by metal wrapped wiring. The costume comes with matching boots with thick soles. Characters wearing this style of costume can be seen in the recreation deck scene in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture, working in the hall outside the training bridge at Starfleet Academy and running through the corridors of the “USS Enterprise-A” prior to battle with the “USS Reliant” in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and cleaning the observation area in spacedock when the “USS Enterprise-A” is stolen by its command crew in Star Trek III: The Search for Spock. | |||
