| Perhaps the single best example of all remaining principle character costumes featured in Star Trek I: The Motion Picture, a gray Class-A Starfleet uniform for wear by James Doohan in his portrayal of “Scotty”. The costume is a set of gray trousers with a sewn in Western Costume Co. tag reading ‘James Doohan' and a matching uniform top with an affixed red backed Starfleet emblem patch on the left breast with excellent color, an affixed plastic bio-monitor in great condition, and a single line of gold colored rank braid affixed to both sleeves with threads remaining from removed rank braid. Oddly dissimilar than other similar uniforms, ‘J. Doohan’ is penned in on the inside zip seam of the uniform top as opposed to having a sewn in tag. | |||
